random encounter, who wins?
What If Doctor Strange vs Lord Boros
Strange blinks.
dr. strange easily. Protection spell, Time stone, Eating a Galaxy busting attack, he easily demolishes.
Strange blinks.
Strange eats the verse. Spite.
Was the protection spell something he always had on by default?
@nwname: Even if he didn't he can just activate it with a gesture. Boros is probably gonna spend time wondering who he's up against or monologuing anyway.
Even then, I don't see how Strange absorbing all these demonic creatures didn't amp his durability in some way.
@nwname: even if boros is too fast for him. Strange could just stop time as soon as he lost sight of him.

"As soon as he lost sight" or with a "gesture" would be enough time for a blitz. I assumed he started in MB as in the OP but if random encounter is strange randomly coming across Boros in his ship or something he probably wouldn't even attack first let alone attack instantly. Demons amping durability is likely i agree but i dont know how much of an amp it would be.
Edit: Checked the scene he doesn't even put a spell on himself just the others. Seems like he tanked everything he did in ep9 without any spell boosts. So there is no win condition for Boros at all. Massive mismatch
He didn't create a protection spell for himself, only for the Guardians of the Multiverse.
Should be around the durability of Ultron.
That's what I was saying. he doesn't need it, he's already amp via mystical creatures absorption. I tried to find a pic of his true form but disney is one tough sob to get around.
He reverses it after it expands for a few seconds, doesnt react before it can grow so it isn't a superhuman reaction time feat. Basically if the burst covers 50000 light years per second, strange does his move after the blast covered around that many light years.
@nwname: Peggy and Thor are shown bracing right as it reaches them, Strange's reaction isn't shown but it's implied as he should be around their speed level.
This is a completely different monster than anything in the hst, ft, and opm verses. Eating a legit galaxy buster attack as a snack would have made neo-accacia from toriko jealous...
Strange solos the verse.
@areneacaulem: smdh. Leave it to them to be shown on screen galaxy level feats and ignore it. What if? Really exposed their double standards. If he were a vn or ln character he'd be in some weird "beyond multiversal" tier with these same feats.
Strange tanking and eating a solar system-sized explosion (Hmm! yummy.) is enough for him to win this battle. That explosion strike is 100 times greater than any Lord Boros' attack.
Dr Strange is too OP and he stomps.
And he just eats it afterwards..
He probably instantly gets blitzed and one shot by MB Boros
Give him time to put up a protection spell he wins

How is he getting one-shot when he tanked a galaxy busting attack and literally ate it after?

That wind part they react to obviously isn't the fully released blast yet unless you think Earth can tank galaxy busting
Can't tell if you are actually serious about MFTL Peggy so im responding seriously
@nwname: the light is from the expanding explosion, and they're reacting to that. As far as MFTL Peggy goes, disregarding the obvious amp by Strange, if the explosion is MFTL and she reacts to it, it's an MFTL feat. You can call it an outlier, but the feat by itself is clearly MFTL.
Strange solos the verse.
