what do you think of batman and spiderman teaming up?
I like the look, like the powers, but I cant stand Peter Parker and his bitching. Someone just kill Aunt May already.
I have this crossover that Nobody mentioned. It, like most crossovers, is disappointing with predictable writing.
Carnage is moved to Arkam Asylum and Spidey goes to Gotham to keep an eye on the prison transfer.
Batman gets all territorial about Spidey being in his city but later apologizes.
Carnage & Joker escape, team-up and then turn on each other.
It's topped off when Batman beats up Carnage. Which is absolutely ludicrous!
I like both these characters but they, like all of DC and Marvel should stay apart.
I've seen interviews with Joe Quesada where he states that crossovers like this always have boring writing.
I loath the Amazing Spider-Emo...all that tiresome inner conflict and tormented brooding...it's not who Spider-Man should be, but they've done it anyway to try and make him 'cool' and 'sketchy'. He's not Batman dammit and that's perfectly alright.
Anyway, no, I wouldn't be up for a crossover like that. Batman/Deadpool would be more fun.
@toxin493: They would be a good team, as they are both broody characters. If they would team up to get a crossover-only villain, it would be even better.
