Walking Dead Tournament (Slots Filled)

What better way to kick off Halloween and the Season 4 Premier of Walking Dead than a Tournament. God knows it has been awhile for me. I'm just so damn hyped.

The World has gone to hell. Good and Evil have no meaning. The name of the game is survival. Your goal in life is to hit places up for supplies, gear, food, ect. However your not the only roaming game in town, you have to beat the undead, but you need to fear the living. That said, welcome to the new age!

Street Level Heroes. Teams of 4.

• Strength in 5 tons Max (Ultimate Cap). This applies to TK and/or Force.
• Speed Mach 1 Travel Speed Max (Sonic). Combat Speed Max Mach 2 or Bullet Speed (Most Street Levelers).
• Durability of Body Peak Human (Captain America). Armor can be like High Grade Steel (Knight Armour). Healing Factor Fast (Wolverine). Will be infected by Walkers if Bitten, unlease already Undead or Machine.
• Only one Character can have any TP/Mental Abilities. They must be within Street Level (60s Jean Grey).
• Only one Character can Duplicate or Summon. Max out at 100 Summons or Duplicates. They will be infected by Walkers if Bitten.
• Anybody who can beat Gray Hulk in a straight fight is disallowed. Like AoA Nightcralwer, Fantomex, Midnighter, ect....
• Morals are still on.
• Team work is NOT a factor! Everyone is part of a group even if they would never be.

Perks will be available in each round. Only one Perk per team. Each round will have a different scenarios while trying to kill the other team.

This rule does not make any sense when the main goal is survival.

The goal is survival of the team. Example, in this tournament you can have Sabertooth with wolverine and they will be not trying to kill each other as per my rules.

No no, I would not use Shadow Arm EoS. She breaks the strength rules and speed rules. Think of a team away.

Exactly. Therefore you're allowing people to take the easy-way-out (creating teams purely based on power), and not challenging people's skill at formulating a balanced team with functioning Team Chemistry, an important factor that SHOULD play a very important role in a tournament like this. The goal is survival.

Well I am a new user here, so you probably know more about this topic than I do. Just my opinion.

Plenty others you can pick like him. Angel, Spike, Dracula, Vampirella, Living Mummy, ect. Im sure more are out there. As long you have a robot character who falls in the rules, you can use them to. Be creative :)

I get what your saying, but I am looking a bit for team building skills to come into play.

Also more Zombie Characters you can use. Marvel Zombies like Wolverine, Deadpool, Cap America, ect that fit in the rules. All allowed lol.

Ya, for some reason I was thinking 10 is the limit, not 5. I'm going to keep a gunslinger Western theme to my team. I'm changing Luther Strode to Jonah Hex and Rocket Raccoon to Roland Deschain.

Yeah. TK is limited in the same way as anyone who could beat Grey Hulk in a fight. I do not think Vader TK with the force is that powerful in showings.

Isn't Vader quite a bit over the fighting speed limit? I've read on threads before that he's near light-speed in his reaction times. I always thought that was a pretty big over-exaggeration, but lots of people back it up.

@indiecomicsftw: That would allow TK over the strength limit which is a bit silly considering TK is an overpowered ability as it is and force users a re a good bit over the reflex limit if we go by expanded universe claims.

@indiecomicsftw: I edited in the rest, sorry. Also, can Punisher get his battle van? Also, Multiple Man and Data may be over the durability limit, Data is a robot, who is bullet proof and Multiple Man absorbs kinetic energy. Do with that as you will.

And if I have to change out, I'll take Daredevil and Taskmaster.

Actually Multiple Man is totally legal due to the rules. He multiplies to a 100 max as per rules and all those Duplicates can be infected with the virus with a bite. Not a good character to use at all. Data is allowed as a robot if one wants him. No more powerful or broken than say Darth Vader.

Also no Vehicles. Horses and Motorcycles are fine, they leave you expose. You can bring that into a house. A Van is too much.
