If I made him to manipulate green lantern energy then this would turn into a spite thread. Green lantern is nothing but energy...vulcan would destory him effortlessly. The only thing I did is put them on even grounds
I did, doesnt change anything. Unless he is close to say a quantum field, he has no energy to manipulate. You are essentially handicapping him. Which i am not saying is unfair, i am not even saying you are trying to make a stomp, but now that you have taken away his most powerful attack , he sure as hell loses badly.

Not necessarily, that's ur opinion. Vulcan have plenty of ways to fight lantern. He has infinite ways to fight with energy in the same way hal jordan can. He can still manipulate and channel his own energy projection powers. Hal still can't hit vulcan with energy or he will absorb it. Only way lantern win is with his physical charascteristics. But I dnt think lantern beat him easily. I dnt think he beat vulcan period...but that's my opinion

Yes he can still absorb it. I didn't wanna handicap him to that extreme. Look at it this way...lucas bishop can absorb energy but he can't manipulate energy. Vulcan still have his energy absorption powers, but he can't manipulate lantern's energy. That's the only restriction. If I didn't handicap him a little then only thing vulcan needed to do is stop the energy ring from working. But absorption powers is still in effect

Maybe if you had said "A green-lantern vs. Vulcan" it would be fight. A green-lantern is John Stewart, or Kyle Rayner. But you said Hal Jordan, that's like Parallax or the Spectre. It's been a long-time since I read any green lantern. But the last time I did Hal Jordan was basically the battery incarnate and was connected to all the energy in the galaxy or was it universe. It's been a long-time so I have to assume that they weakened Hal in order to make him good again. But the TC didn't say which Hal Jordan it was.
