It's true, the symbiote enhances natural strength, and eddie had the strength of a world class weightlifter. his wife didn't. Eddie's also got increasingly stronger during his time as venom, so it stands to reason he would win. Also the symbiote drove eddie's wife insane.
I'm not saying that he wouldn't win (aside from the strength, he has a lot more experience with the suit), and I know how the symbiote works, but "twice as strong" sounded a little specific, as if it were written somewhere, when it wasn't.

the symbiote essentially copied spider-man's powers and applied them to eddie when they were bonded. So, like, if eddie had been bitten by the radioactive spider he would have been stronger than peter is, because of his weight training.

That makes sense. Has the symbiote or any of the others been shown to copy any one else's powers? I know they have temporarily bonded with some other superpowered individuals but perhaps it wasn't long enough for them to copy the powers.
Well you can imply that the Symbiote absorbes the powers and strength of its host when it's bonded with them for an extended period of time. It did this with Spider-Man and Venom so I'm guessing it's doing the same thing with Gargan and if the suit goes back to Eddie, Eddie's strength will be much more powerful than it was. About 2.2 times stronger. But yeah, I think Eddie will emerge victorious against She-Venom due to his experience and his overall physical stats.
