I know viners always back comics over the film verse etc, but bar speed here, I’m not sure how Spider-Man is going to deal with Venom’s Durability and clear weapon advantage via the symbiote.
However if Peter has sonic weapon equipped, this would be an unfair fight IMO.
@kingant27: in most instances against venom peter had to utilize the environment to harm venom. He had to either find a way to create extreme heat or loud noise, in an urban environment like New York I’m sure peter could find a way to do that, however any other environment that’d be more difficult for him. Although movie venom got the symbiote ripped off of him by riot a few times I’m sure 616 peter is strong enough to do the same
I think knowledge is 616 Peters main advantage here. He's fought other venoms and know their weaknesses, add that to the fact that spidey is arguably stronger and just as durable. Spidey also has a massive skill/speed advantage.
Even if Peter has no access to fire or sonics, he should be able to rig up some tech on the fly. His use of science in battles is pretty well established.
