Probably pretty easily tbh. His feats may look cheesy; but he's a solid low mid tier.

This respect thread is lacking actually as Kain is pyrokinetic as well.

If so, Kain destroys. The only thing I think Klaus has is a slight speed advantage and compulsion. But even then it seems like Kain has low level tp resistance.

I'd say everything else is pretty accurate. If no one argues for Klaus I might have to think of a better battle.

Neck feats?

TP resistance feats?

Kain can manipulate time, spar with people who can push/move 20+ tons and break steel, and eats souls. He's also almost as fast as Klaus without manipulating time. Basically, I think he's just too versatile, too strong, and too durable. Speed is their only close stat imo.

@avatarofdeath: I only saw his respect thread. I think Kain might have a physical strength advantage over Klaus due to him scaling other characters. And he's also has his low mind resistance which can protect from being compelled. Good job making that fight.

Don't know enough about Kain to give an answer. Looked to the respect thread but, still not sure how he'd handle certain things. His best speed feat i saw there is dodging arrows, so he and klaus are similar levels of speed, but it seems, he is stronger. Not sure how skilled a fighter he is, but his versatility with spells might give him an edge. If he really is a class 100, then he one-shots.

Idk who Kain is, but based on his respect thread, his physicals alone is surely not enough, though his soul attacking magic and time freezing should be too OP. Idk though, the dude is way too slow.

Also, check the actual links that were given in the respect thread. I found the actual showings to be very underwhelming compared to his claims.

Kain suffers a bit from poor graphics on the PS1; but he is listed as super human in terms of speed, and in later incarnations was able to flat out slow time. Which pretty much negates Klaus's speed advantage. I mean, even if Klaur somehow gets an early hit, Kain has more than enough durability to negate that. He can also manipulate lightning and fire; which can prove troublesome. Finally, he has mist form; which Klaus has absolutely no counter for.

But basically, all vampires are fast enough, at base, to outpace even the fastest human. Much like VD Vampires. However, I know the originals are much faster (I watched the first couple seasons). But nonetheless, we see Kain casually outpacing and outmaneuvering vampires in his universe all the time. Even characters like Sebastian, who can manipulate time themselves, are barely able to keep up with the likes of Kain. I know his feats come a bit by hearsay and scaling more than anything; but he is still fast.

And that's not even including his superior weaponry. He eats souls and carries a weapon that can also destroy souls. Which should work on pretty much anything, including Klaus and the originals.

Klaus whines untill Kain is dead.

Klaus takes this. Literally outclasses Kain physically. Lol.

We're talking about the Klaus of novels, right? I don't know if in the series he is stronger or weaker, but I am sure that even if a good fight, Kain can win, in powers I think they're pretty much on par , even if Kain is superior (as long as we don't count Kain as Scion of Balance, then Klaus is light years away from Kain), I think Kain is faster both in attack,reaction and combat speed (he can fight and defeat multiple demons, which move and attack at natural lightning speed, this being seriously weakened).

How much attack/destructive power does Klaus have? Kain can resist at least, attacks that destroy large mountains,if not much more, Kain also has intangibility and superior regeneration to Klaus, he also has resistance to mind control and soul manipulation, so I don't think compulsion works.

Conclusion, I'm sure Kain can win, even without the Soul Reaver.
