Team 1: Tulak Hord & Khem Val (Legends prime)

Team 2: Maul & Savage Opress (TCW prime; previous Legends feats apply)

Two very deadly duos face off. Will the ancient Sith Lord and his Dashade companion win the day, or will the victory go to the Zabrak brothers?

  • They fight in character.
  • They start at a 20m distance in the pictured location.

Does Team 1 even have the feats or necessary hype to contend with the brothers?

@thevivas: Hord has hype to be >> Traya, the dubious Endar Sphere feat and is said to be a army buster, though this has be debunked several times.

Val on the other side, has hype to be undefeated by Jedi & Sith, except Hord (though only Kallig & Hord are noteworthy in the period), and some other feats. I don't remember anything to put him > Tholme, let alone Savage.

This.

It's why using most ancient Sith in battles is a bad idea. They're virtually featless, relying almost solely on hype.

If I had to guess, though, I'd say team Maul would win, with Khem Val likely being a weak link.

The Nightbrothers win. Tulak Hord has the accolade of being undefeated until he was assassinated, and Val having been bested only by Hord himself, but the thing is, exactly how powerful were the Jedi and Sith of this era?

When we look at Sith Empire's, they tend to be weaker than a smaller group of Sith. The dark side is so spread out, and they are always bickering and fighting among themselves. This is what led Bane to create the Rule of Two and destroy the BoD. He effectively hit the reset button on the power of the Sith, and the new power base started with himself.

Maul is interesting, considering that he cannot effectively be scaled using the RoT, because his master was the pinnacle of the Banite line. However, he was considered to be one of the most skilled warriors in the history of the Sith. Not the Banite line. The Sith. Period. Hord was the greatest of his time, Maul was one of the greatest of all time.

@bigsambino87: I believe there are statements saying that Darth Maul was trained to be a viable successor, which shows his potential. Although obviously that training was never completed

Hord's hype beats Maul's feats imo.

Even giving Tulak some leeway, Khem's got nothing on Savage. The Nightbrothers clean house.

Honestly, Tulak solos. Easily at that. Guy has telekinetically ripped a 315 meter hammerhead-class cruiser from the sky. A Force showing that is miles ahead of absolutely anything Maul or Savage have accomplished.

As far as sabers, team 1 yet again. Tulak is widely regarded as the greatest duelist of the ancient Sith, and he is confirmed to be significantly better as a swordsman than anyone of the KOTOR era which as stated by the writers, possesses Obi-Wan Kenobi-level fighters.

Maul can put up a fight but he can't win. Savage can only compete with Khem if he's armed with Nightbrother weapons. But even then he gets slaughtered by the greatest Dashade Shadow Assassin.

They don’t have the feats but they have the accolades. If accolades don’t count then there’s no need in even debating on this thread. By accolades the team stomps but by feats maul and savage would win.

Hord. Soloing armies, including massive amounts of other force users. Takes it. Khem is just a strong support for him, but could probably take Savage alone.
