Trunks vs Ichigo (stats equalized and sword fight only)

Both of their stats have been reduced to that of Bruce Lee's

Both of them are completely used to their new physical stats

Trunks have his iconic longsword, Ichigo has his Tensa Zangetsu zanpakuto

This is pure swordsmanship only, so no planet bust, no super saiyan, noreiatsu crush, and please, please, PLEASE no "trunks punches the ground too hard and one shots hst" or something like that. I've lready said that stats have been equalized

Trunks bodies Ichigo. You can nerf him to fodder Bleach levels all you like, doesn't matter

Trunks never really had anyone who taught him how to use a blade, nor has he ever fought anyone else who uses a blade. Ichigo's benefitted from learning from and fighting master swordsmen. I give the fight to Ichigo.

Trunks goes bankai and negs.

Um, neither are particularly impressive. I feel like Ichigo wins because hes got more experience swordfighting and Bleach (for a while anyways) had a lot of swordplay

Trunks might have more H2H combat skill and is quite skilled with a sword too, but that is Ichigo's forte and I have to give it to him here, he would definitely beat trunks but in a vey good intense fight in just pure swordplay, I would pay to watch that between two of my fav characters.

This is pretty one sided in Ichigo's favor since you nerfed Trunk's to sword attacks only against a guy that trained and fought with a sword for most of his life. Ichigo is more skilled when it comes to swords.

Trunks has zero sword skill feats to his name and Ichigo is arguably his peer in pure H2H.

Lol people are saying that Ichigo is a swordmaster when he is an amateur himself who relies mostly on his strength and speed and spams getsuga tenshou and knows nothing about swordsman ship.

I would give it to trunks as he was training with sword when he was a kid whereas ichigo only started using sword when he was teenager

Trunks drops his sword constantly during battle

Meanwhile, Ichigo has fought on par with 100+ year old swordsmen with a ton of experience

ichigo takes it, Trunks is not a swordsman nor was he ever taught how to use one by anybody.

Ichigo was trained by Urahara and fought a bunch of old monsters that all used swords also fought Zangetsu for several months with a sword, at the very least in terms of combat with one he is far superior to trunks.

OT: Trunks still stomps. Ichigo is not impressive. Trunks using his blade as a boomerang is more creative than anything he's done. Now if this was White, the one that actually made use of the older Zangetsu's bandages and had Ichigo all like kawaiiii then maybe. But it's just the getsuga spamming one.

Also Trunks doesn't take forever to repair his sword since he can just do this and be gucci
