Now now.lets not be hasty Drogo was never defeated fighting many battles on the front lines. I see him as skilled as the Viper or bear enough to make this good. The Viper is fast and has a better reach with that spear Though, so it Will be hard to close the gap. My take on this given both are fast skilled, is that Drogo takes it, but dies from the poison of the Vipers spear afterwards....

Interesting fight, but I’m picking Oberyn. I’d imagine he’s the dirtier (if he has to be) and more versatile fighter, not to mention he’d only have to get a scratch on Drogo and let the poison do it’s work. Since he doesn’t hold a grudge against Drogo and it’s clear Drogo isn’t someone to mess around with when you see how long his hair braid is, I’d imagine the poison Oberyn would use for this fight would be fast acting.

This is one of the only fights that Drogo has had that I think he can actually win

Oberyn. Khal Drogos only feat is stomping a featless Dothraki.

oberyn knows exactly how to take down steppe brutes. he spent a long time travelling around essos and has fought all manner of enemies. drogo would underestimate him and not even think about the poison factor.

I can see this,Oberyn has able to disarm Drogo after a hard fight,but Drogo kill Oberyn with is own spear ,after using her against him(Drogo is the best in fight with no weapons in my opinion)( after I watch the fight vs Mago ) But just like @destinyman75 said Oberyn will wound Drogo with his spear and the poison will kill him after the fight.

Oberyn has longer reach with that spear, however, Drogo has demonstrated his ability to close the gap while dodging swings from the arakh. With his speed, he should have no problem getting past the spear's range and killing Oberyn.
