20 feet is probably too short a distance for Toph not to get blitzed to be honest.

Toph sadly lacks the agility for such a relative short distance against blood lusted Cassandra Cain and Azula already outspeeded her seismic sense.

Toph crushes her with a rock.

@immoralimmortal: Toph has solid reactions but in speed and skill she's not really even worth addressing in the same sentence as a beast like Cassie.

Cassie is too much, she'd close that distance before Toph could do anything. 20 feet is too short. Make it 20 meters and Toph might stomp her before she gets close.

Cassandra is way too fast.

If it's N52 Cassandra, Toph murders.

Pre-FP, 20 feet is too small of a gap for Cass not to win. Give Toph a greater opening distance and she has this.

Toph stomps, she can summon some rock armour well before Cain reaches her.

Toph can still wreck if she goes OOC, but Cassie wins under these conditions.

Cassandra is too fast, and smashing rocks isn't exactly outside her paygrade.

You do know Toph is blind and can't actually see stuff that isn't moving on the ground yes?

@outside_85: she can see metal or rock if it's airborn she can feel things connected to the Earth.

@callmeblast: I very much doubt the young Toph could see metal, the older one very likely could. Plus on top of it all what earthbenders can grab is the dirt and impurities that haven't been weeded out during the smelting process... which are virtually non-existent in modern metals, and this is looking aside the possibility of cassandra's batarangs being made of something other than metal. Plus what Toph sees are the vibrations, she can 'see' where Cassandra is standing, not necessarily what she is doing.
