Top 10 martial artists in the MCU

1. Captain America

He’s a master of Acrobatic Taekwondo, Karate, Boxing, gymnastics, Judo, Jujitsu, and combative tricking. He’s an extremely agile and versatile fighter. While at the same time packing power in his attacks.

Can outskill Ultron who has FAR SUPERIOR STATS.

Can outskill an acrobat MMA fighter in his own craft

Can temporarily outskill Black Panther. Overall stalemating T’Challa in skill. (Equal Stats)

Cap can even outskill the most agile fighter in the MCU who has FAR SUPERIOR STATS.

Then continues to outskill him by using a corkscrew to escape Peter’s spider strength grip.

Cap is clearly the most skilled martial artist in the MCU as of now. Shang Chi will probably put him at second though. Steve slightly edges over T’Challa only due to experience.

2. Black Panther

He could honestly be interchangeable with Steve but is only second due to Steve’s experience. T’Challa’s skill is on Cap’s level and he is superior to Steve in agility. His combat agility is second only to Spider-Man.

Can outskill Bucky(Equal Stats)

Can Stalemate Steve in skill. (Equal Stats)

The king of Wakanda rightfully deserves this spot. However I can see if you put him at number one instead.

3. killmonger

Although Killmonger doesn’t have too many feats, he’s ranked so high because he did defeat T’Challa in African H2H fighting and stalemated him in regular martial arts fighting with their suits on.

(That last CGI fight was notoriously bad though lol)

4. Bucky

Bucky could contend with Cap and T’Challa’s level of skill. However his style is much more straight forward. It’s much more grounded and power centered. This however doesn’t take his skill away. He is still superior to the likes of Hawkeye and Widow.

Although he is less flashy, you need a high level of skill to time H2H experts like Steve’s attacks and counter them effectively. The fact that he can contend with the #1 and #2 fighters gives him this spot.

5. Falcon

For now Falcon should be around here. His agility in H2H combat is pretty impressive and based on the first two episodes of his series his technique rivals Natasha’s.

Even before the series he was busting out scissor kicks with ease to take out military foes. Although he used the wings you still require a decent level of flexibility and agility to pull off a kick like that.

In his series, Sam can contend pretty well with Batroc, an acrobatic MMA fighter who was able to challenge Captain America in H2H combat. Sam even evaded Batroc’s fast kicks and landed a front kick to his chest.

Sam can also outskill a decently skilled SS.

Overall Sam can stalemate Batroc in H2H skill.

A guy who could give Steve’s H2H skill a challenge.

Sam is also extremely nimble and acrobatic in fights. He uses his agility to successfully evade Bloodlusted SS attacks.

Sam definitely deserves this spot due to his impressive skill feats in his series and he’ll only get more skilled as Captain America.

6. Nat/Yelena

Natasha may not be as skilled as Cap or Black Panther but she makes up for it in unpredictability and her incredible weapon usage. She’s incredibly resourceful in combat and isn’t afraid to fight dirty to win.

Widow doesn’t prioritize flashy acrobatics like Cap or BP and instead focuses on close range grappling. Her style on screen is more in sink with Jujitsu and Krav Maga.

She demonstrates exceptional skill when easily dispatching body guards.

Widow can fight evenly with Hawkeye by using her batons and demonstrating incredible ground control when he pins her down. This showing is an amazing example of her high tier weapon skill and Jujitsu mastery.

She also shows off incredible weapons mastery with her batons when she fights Proxima midnight alongside Steve.

Nat beating TM was pretty impressive whoever Taskmaster’s best feat was bullying a fat unskilled Russian SS.

Not to mention TM’s copy’s don’t come close to the real thing due to TM copying Nat’s skill and losing to the real Nat.

Yelena is equal to Nat so she scales to all of her feats

She’s placed here mainly due to her fighting fodder most of the time and not being able to contend with highly skilled martial artists. However with her unpredictability, tasers, and wires Natasha truly was a formidable opponent. Yelena will continue her legacy by fighting Hawkeye next.

7. Hawkeye

Hawkeye isn’t really too much of a major H2H specialist. However when he needs to fight up close he’s extremely talented. Barton can contend with Natasha up close consistently even though she has the edge in that department and it’s mostly due to his weapons skill.

His fight with her in Civil War shows he has some knowledge of Bo-Staff fighting and Jujitsu.

As Ronin he’s an extremely skilled swordsman who is clearly a master of the Katana. He can easily outmatch fully trained Samurai in their own craft.

However Barton is here because he does not have too many martial arts feats and mainly sticks to long range fighting with his arrows. When he gets his show he’ll probably get boosted a lot higher on this list.

8. Okoye

Okoye is extremely skilled with the art of African Spear fighting and Bo-Staff techniques. However she doesn‘t have too many feats outside of the Black Panther movie.

9. Wasp

Wasp mainly uses her shrinking suit to throw her opponents off in fights. However when she does turn large she shows exceptional knowledge of Jujitsu and Krav Maga.

However, unfortunately most of her martial arts showings are against fodder body guards and criminals.

10. Agent 13

Sharon is a pretty skilled martial artist in her own right. In Civil War she demonstrates aptitude for kickboxing and Taekwondo when fighting Bucky.

In the fight she is able to tag Bucky with a roundhouse kick to the face but is overwhelmed as she is doing her turning hook kick.

She’ll definitely move higher up as she gets more martial arts feats in Falcon’s show.

That‘s pretty much it as of now, but Shang Chi will soon be number one while his family changes everything lol.

The lack of MCU Daredevil on this list is very disturbing especially since he should be number one with Dany number 2 or 3.

This list is bs. Thanos is supposed to be number 1, according to Russo's statements.

I hear you on Russo’s statements but I excluded Thanos and Daredevil. Mainly because his crazy size makes it hard to judge. As for Daredevil this is the first I’ve heard he’s part of the MCU. My bad, I haven’t seen his show.

Yeah I haven’t seen the Daredevil or Ironfist shows but didn’t they get canceled?

Anyways yeah they probably would be high up especially due to their history in the comics as martial artists.

Widow literally pulls off some of the most impressive, advanced and complicated acrobatics and tricks in the MCU when she fights but ok.

I'm happy to see someone put Wasp on their list. She's often left aside when it comes to rankings based on combat skill.

Falcon? He’s not really even a fighter!

I mean, the list is mainly based on fight choreography, and there’s nothing wrong with that; it’s an interesting perspective. Although it's not a good way to rank characters for battles forum purposes.

you need to move falcon up the list above bucky - and based on feats cap should be at 1 but panther technically is more skilled in martial arts and could probably beat cap in 1v1 with both in gear

You cannot really say that Black Widow usually only fights with "fodder." She regularly trounces high-end mercenaries and private security personnel. Even low-end firms only hire guys with at least half a decade of experience in law enforcement agencies or the military -- and more often than not, their service was decorated, exceptional. Not every former LEO makes the cut. These are highly dangerous, experienced combatants, and she's facing the better ones.

That said, I would say her best canon accomplishment is outskilling Crossbones:

Crossbones, formerly one of Hydra's top field agents, is a formidable close quarters brawler capable of competitively slugging it out with Captain Rogers:

When she goes straight for grappling -- e.g., both bouts with Winter Soldier -- it puts her opponent in an immediate position to exploit the physical gap. Those fights reach a conclusion very quickly, because of their proximity. When Black Widow sticks to conventional "ranged" empty-hand combat, the fight is somewhat more fleshed out. Either way, she's within the same general range of the top unarmed martial artists(Black Panther, Captain Rogers, Killmonger, Winter Soldier), though indeed not so good.

Rumlov‘s only unarmed H2H skill feat is stomping the unskilled “Working at the VA” Sam Wilson from the TWS.
