Thor vs Wonder Woman no super powers

This is a fight to see who would win a no super powers fight with just combat skill.

Round 1:

No weapons or other gadgets , pure H2H

Round 2:

Thor gets an axe(just an axe nothing special).

Wonder Woman gets a sword and a shield(just a sword and a shield nothing special).

and the both have still no super powers.

Who do you all think will win?

Tough fight. Thor would have a really large physical advantage in strength and size. But i think WW shield would help her alot as well as a faster weapon to go with it. You could argue either.

@coolcat4: Yeah Thor weighs 640lbs and Wonder Woman weighs only 165lbs. She is pretty puny compared to Thor. And is in a lot of muscle so his is probably stronger. And I think if he swings really hard and puts his weight into it then he could break the shield. Leave wonder Woman to result to dodging attacks which is a dangerous tactic.

@humanprecursor9: Ya i could see that for sure. It really comes down to if she could go without getting hit. Other wiese i think a good hit will do a lot of damage.

I feel like Black Widow should have lost to everyone she ever fought because they were all taller, heavier men with more muscle mass...that explains everything....being a meathead ftw

@tedirey: You know what, my bad. For some reason I thought this was MCU Thor and DCEU Wonder Woman.

Since these are comic versions, yes, Diana takes this easily, lol.

Probably Wonder Woman. She's really skilled. Thor's biggest advantage would be his weight (in the real world, that would be a huge advantage for Thor, but because of comic book logic, it won't make too much of a difference).

This isn't true. He is presented as a brute because of his power set but he trains no different than WW in hand to hand. Physical size would be a difference for round 1 but round 2 could go either way and I think ww's speed dif would give her a good chance of winning round 2.

@superprimetime: Even if Thor has no particular fighting still, he is part of a warrior race so fighting is in his genes.

I'm not sure what's wrong with these people, I'm no SJW but is it sexism? Are they Thor fanboys or do they just hate Wonder Woman in comparison, all three perhaps? Nothing about their constant bias makes sense.

Here are some feats for Thor:

He is VERY good at H2H

His can disarm a person with a sword.

He is a god of war. In fact all Aesir Gods are.

He is VERY skilled with an axe.

@humanprecursor9: you misread one of those, TYR, is the Norse God of War, not Thor...and show me something that actually details his skill, I can show you Superman brawling but hes not a particularly skilled fighter or a consistent martial artist...neither is Thor

@ancient_0f_days: Firstly, Thor is a brawler (and he dodges attacks which is even more impressive because he fights armies) and it is not because he lacks skill. It is because of his personality and power set marvel make him brawl to show just how powerful he and his regeneration is.

Plus Thor fights armies. When was the last time Wonder Woman fought an army on her own?

In Norse mythology ALL Aesir gods are gods and goddesses of war including Thor.

Cap said there isn't a style that thor hasn't mastered. In a fight with hercules, it says they used every style that was known. Diana is also shown to be a brawler 95 percent of the time.

no problem. Only thing's i could think of off the top of my head. I still think ww takes round two because of speed differentials but people downplay thor h2h or in general all the time on here.

@newecho: This is comic vine after all. But Thor now how to use his size to his advantage and Thor has weighed a lot for his entire life so he should know how to manipulate his weight to make him faster.

True but i just don't think he will be able to move as fast as diana in that 2nd round and she gets a shield. It's kind of set up for her to win imo.
