Thor is in a controlled state of warrior's madness & has the belt of strength which can be worn or tied around Mjolnir whichever is better.
If u think this is a mismatch you can give him the belt of giant strength.
Have At Thee
@highaccuser: kal kent is basically galaxy level character (or just under) belt of strength probanly would not be enough
@chimeroid: He's not Galaxy level. That feat required help from someone whose power level is unknown compared to his.
@highaccuser: he was holding it back before Titano came. Worst case he is half a galaxy level. Still>>>>>>> Belt of Giant Strength

No he wasn't. He made no headway against the galaxy. Titano helped to an unknown degree and for all we know did all the heavy lifting.
Kal has the powers of a 5D Imp, and is likely among the fastest of the Supermen.
Thor stands little chance.

He only inherited their senses. Aside from that, nothing to suggest he has anything along the lines of reality warping.

So you are willing to dismiss the galaxy feat alltogether for that reason alone? Seriously?
Ok, let's say Titano Did 99% of work. Even THEN it is FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR better than anything thor has done without Odin Force
I think King Thor would be a better match. The Belt of Strength might let Thor compete on panel but lacks feats as far as I know.

Yes.
Why would we even assume Kal did 1% of the work?
@lordwhis do you ever make threads that aren't mismatches?
@highaccuser: At the very least. (barring your ridiculous lowball) he made a force field around an entire galaxy. That is literally the lowest thing you could say.
@chimeroid: Except its not. Thor nearly killed Galactus with a godblast in his silver age days. Without amps or the OF.
@chimeroid: I'm not sure what you mean by the question. In terms of what happened in that scan, Galactus was attacking Ego and Thor used a form of a godblast on Galactus that would have killed him had he not fled to his ship to get away from it.
Thor does have that one-fifth of the universe level feat using only half his power & that galaxy busting energy absorbing feat & that shaking the universe during his battle with ego feat & that clash with thor of the future that produced a shockwave similar to the Big Bang feat & that tanking the supernova sized attack from the executioner without even flinching feat, & that battling a confirmed multi-galaxy buster for 9 months straight feat, After some superhero (don't remember who) was killed by thanos, thor engaged the mad titan & won, actually everytime Thor & Thanos have gone on one, Thor has triumphed. Thor's highest showings are like really really high, though they are few and far between.
@chimeroid: It didn't do anything other than hold up Mjolnir so he could channel the godblast easier. He told them to make one and they did.
@lordwhis: I don't actually ever remember Thor defeating Thanos 1 on 1. He defeated him in Jurgens run with a couple of amped weapons but it turned out to be a Thanosi(not the real Thanos) and all the other times they've fought I think either Thanos won or it was a draw. Even pg Thor didn't beat him.
@lordwhis: Thor had the pg and was using it there. Thanos wasn't using the rg either. He was just the keeper of it. It was stated in Infinity Crusade that you have to have the power and time gems to properly use the rg and that Thanos knew this. I agree Thor didn't use his stronger attacks on Thanos(like he was prior to that) but he still was unable to beat him even with the pg.

lol

lol
@the_real_seaman: Because they are canon and completely applicable to Thor. Well, depending of course on context and if he has done such thing after that point as well.
@ghostravage: Didn't know that. Marvel never had a Retcon?
@the_real_seaman: Retcons? Of course they had, several of them actually. A flat out reboot starting from scratch like DC did with their continuity? Not at all. Basically, the same Thor we see today from Earth-616 is the same Thor you saw in his first appearance in Journey into the Mystery from the 60s.
@ghostravage:Well then how come everyone is so specific with using Pre-Retcon Molecule Man? Wouldn't this same MM be just as powerful?
just trying to learn something here lol
@the_real_seaman: Some characters have had retcons(mainly mm and Beyonder) but the MU has never had a true mass reboot like dc has done a few times unless you want to count the sw reboot which just happened. Its unclear if its a real reboot though.
@the_real_seaman: Some characters have their origins and character development retconed, meaning it changes it some way and explained either by Marvel's editorial team or on-panel context. Thor is not one of those characters but the original Beyonder and Molecule Man were changed.
A reboot would imply a complete restart of their development, retcones just pick parts out and replaces them with different ones, but the events and what that character did in the past is still inside the continuity.
@ghostravage: Got it. I haven't read that much Marvel I'm just getting into it.
@spambot: If Thor was really using the pg why didn't he do what he did to Adam & strange, that technique is an instant win, he was just brawling and since Thor's physical strength is infinite he was not benefitting from the pg besides his eyes weren't glowing nor did he have an aura, he wasn't actively using it, also, I say again, once when another superhero died Thor fought craterface and beat him. Thor at his best & using all of his abilities to their fullest is around celestial cube starlord level.
Also what if Thor uses his spatiotemporal powers and creates a wormhole in his eye, Thor exists beyond the physical realm, his body is just a medium to interact with lesser beings with.
@lordwhis: His physical strength isn't infinite. The pg is still going to amp his power and durability. As far as why he didn't make a storm or something you'd just have to assume he felt like brawling with Thanos. Pip even mentions in narration that he has it on him. Otherwise he wouldn't have been able to get the better of Thanos in just h2h.
