I was just being generous to Thor. Wonder could survive his lightning, but the rest probably can’t. Thor didn’t use his powerful lightning attacks in the film that much.

Why would Dianas sword that didn't cut Steppenwolf cut Thor

Thor clears, his lightning shield was not pierced by Hela so its not going to be pierced by Diana.

Haven't seen JL yet.

If he goes all god mode on their asses he has a chance. If not, no way. Diana could give him a decent fight but the lightning was pretty powerful. He is skilled enough with weapons to actually hang on with Hela for about 2-3 minutes before losing an eye, but in the end... :P

@thanosii: cos thor has terrible piercing durability, not cutting steppenwolf is a feat for him not for thor (even though she still cut him), plus the sword has cut through stuff a lot more durable than thor

Because asgardians can get stabbed, can get cuts etc. But Steppenwolf is a New God and apprently in the DCEU movies they are not vulnurable to those. And that is a hardcore defensive feat. Since we know Diana's sword is magical, can cut through Kryptonians, Old Gods ( Ares ) easily, slices every earth material like butter etc.

Diana makes a salad out of Thor.

The League did terribly against Supes because they were holding back and trying to restrain him instead of outright beat him... Not saying that they could have won, just probably could have put more of a fight than they did.

Thor has a few advantages like AoE attacks but he also has a few more weaknesses, like shit piercing durability against magic/alien piercing weapons and he is far slower than Supes and his blunt durability is not that great either...

I say The Justice League 7/10.

@arqe: Steppen isn't a New God and they have no feats to even suggest they're not vulnerable to anything, why would you consider this a hardcore defensive feat? And wonder womans sword never cut Ares, don't you remember him completly incinerating it?

@darkseidthanos: Steppenwolf is a New God, he even said himself he is just banished because he failed to conquer the earth. I mean it took all the amazons, atlantians, human tribes and old gods to stop him but ... He failed.

Also her sword didn't even made a dent on his leg when she tried to hit him like she did with Doomsday. That means he is not vulnerable to magic like Kryptonians or one old god magic wasn't enough . Also he didn't even flinched when she hit him from that physical hit. JL managed to harm him after he got beaten by Superman.

Because they didn't say "Look at this sword, its magical" we gonna say that "It is only a very sharp blade that can harm kryptonians" ? Her first and 2nd sword ( Athena's ) both forged by the gods infused with divine power just like her bracelets which absorbed Ares's lightning.

Are we going to say "That is not magic, it is just a regular lightning" ?

2. Wonder Woman isn't as fast as Mjolnir and cannot even react to its movement if Thor decides to incapacitate her. She's also irrelevant.

It seems that I did not pay such attention to this scene, but if we use the trailer as a reference it is possible that he's able to vaporize other beings...jump to 10 seconds,apparently those rocks was destroyed. It's a shame most of these scenes were cut from the movie.

No. He could beat any of them on their own, but not as a team. Wonder Woman and Aquaman could probably win alone.

Note that in the movie she never said that the sword is magical

WW is a child of zeus hence why she aborbed ares lightning

Clark really doesnt have a lot of piercing resistance feats so a very sharp blade could hurt him
