In an old fashioned chess match. No bus meta powers.
The Thinker (CW) vs 616 Reed Richards
@the_magister: Reason?
@the_magister: Stop with this bait
Heres some intelligence feats for Devoe
- Probably Predicted A.R.G.U.S Agents security code.
- Calculated that there was only a 12% chance that Barry would reveal he is the flash.
- Calculated that in a chain of 4,900 possible outcomes there was a chance team flash would call DeVoe the Teacher.
- Knew all 7,798 variations to an argument before it even began.
- Solved Riemann's hypothesis, Hilbert's 15th problem, standard conjectures on algebraic cycles, and the list goes on & even figured Jack the Ripper's identity.
- Predicted team flash Final Attempt to stop Devoe.
- Predicted Earth-2 Harrison Wells would use Dark Matter.
- Can calculate a near-infinite outcomes spanning Multiple Earths which he did when he calculated the recruitment of Snart's doppelganger, even the arrival of the Earth-X banshee.
- Manipulated team flash to follow his plan by the Samuroid attack, them to get Edwin, using Him to AttackDeVoe's lair & used their breach to Cover his breach.
- Made Earth-2 Harrison Wells as his Guinea Pig who was intelligent enough to predict rest of the, Metahumans names, void's Weakness, void's Gravity effect duration on Barry , 67% chance within 4 seconds, 4827possibilities, etc.
- Engineered Chain event specifically to counter Flash & his Allies.

@rbt: Mags just does this in every comic vs la thread I make now, its not his actual opinion
@tonymartial: I know. That's why I called him out, lol.

Because you consistently make mismatches. Not everyone who thinks comics > live-action has some hidden agenda or ulterior motive.
Anyways, Reed beating Doom in a chess match and keeping up with Tony across 5 different chessboards should give him the win. Don't think I need to iterate how smart Doom is.
@the_magister: Discord folk giving you intel lol
Thank you for the reasons tho.
@the_magister: Then it's a good thing this is not a quiz competition. This is a chess match. Who can make an Ultimate Nullifier and who can't does not matter here.
DeVoe can predict outcomes. His powers are perfectly suited for a chess game. He can predict exactly what a person is going to say, in exactly what words, before they say it. He can predict what their response will be based on his own reply. He can basically orchestrate an entire conversation in his mind before it happens. He predicted exactly when and where a person from a parallel earth would arrive with exactly what motives without ever having met her. By his own addmitance, he can predict near infinite outcomes of any event. As long as they don't include actions taken while heavily influenced by emotion. And chess hardly has infinite options.
There is literally no way to beat someone who can think of every single outcome in a game of chess. DeVoe would already have all the possible ways the game could go listed in his mind. All he has to do is keep eliminating the ones that would lead to a loss. As I said, it's literally impossible to beat someone like DeVoe in a game of chess.
I imagine the Thinker should win. Intelligence is a broad thing, especially in comics. Reed is wiser, more knowledgeable and better but I doubt he's the human calculator that The Thinker is. Reed got stomped in chess by Iron Man so at least we can say he's well below having actually solved the game, which I imagine The Thinker could probably do.
@rbt: Yeah I can see that. Reed's way more intelligent overall, but Thinker's unique ability is well suited for chess.
Someone admitting a LA character > a comic character in something is like winning the NBA finals for Tony, that's the enjoyment he gets out of it
He's like "REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
@rbt: And last time I checked, shrinking your opponent and stepping on him is against FIDE rules.
@rbt: And last time I checked, shrinking your opponent and stepping on him is against FIDE rules.
Is it? Damn, these rules keep getting stricter day by day.
Tony <Doom < Reed and Tony >>>>>>>> Thinker
Thinker would most likely win a chess match. Not that he's smarter, but his insane ability to calculate possibilities will come VERY handy in a chess match. That's honestly the first thing I thought when I found out about his ability.
Reed............................
Tony, what are you doing, man?
Reed stomps. Mismatch.
not a mismatch, these two are very even
Thinker. He had the ability to predict literally every possible outcome that did not heavily involve emotions.
