He gets stopped at Gladiator, or if his powers being dampened mess with him (as he needs to maintain confidence, and this probably breaks that), then Hercules is going to be the end of the line, sadly.

Lol, what a bunch of clowns.

OT: Rhino should be above Aquaman, Wonder Woman below Gladiator, Hercules above Thor (under these specific conditions). Regarding the gauntlet itself... Wonder Girl, Starfire and Aquaman get massacred, Rhino holds his own for a couple of minutes before getting KOed, WW and Gladiator get mid-diffed. The only hard rounds are Thor, Herc and Superman. He can potentially clear, but can also stop at Herc or Supes.

Ben might lose to Herc in a fight. They've fought before a few times, seemed to be pretty neck and neck.

Wonder Woman without her speed really ain't that physically strong. Clark beat her pretty badly and she relies a lot on her gear, skill, and speed to really fight. She's not weak obviously, but not known for being a slugger.

Thor is too inconsistent to judge these days lol

@ready_4_madness: I mean, Thing hit so hard with everything he had (according to him) that he smashed his own arm into pieces.

We've never seen Ben smack someone that hard before, so I doubt it's "muh pis" or whatever random excuse you could say about it, unless Ben's done this before and failed to knock out someone weaker, in which case I'd love to see it

Thing has been getting a bit to much praise of late. It's arguable as to whether he could even beat Aquaman (I don't think he can). He one-shot Immortal Hulk (who had no significant injuries & was back up a few moments later) with a punch that contained everything he had (which resulted in him being out for a week). That definitely isn't standard for Thing. I'm not sure about Gladiator, or Hercules, but he's not making it past seven.

People claiming that Thing oneshotting Hulk is PIS or an outlier completely miss the point of the feat.

Ben threw everything he had into that one punch. It's his outright strongest ever attack and has never punched that hard before, because Ben holds back. Claiming it is PIS because he's never done it before is a moot point because there's no over feat to show that he couldn't do it.

He still clears. Lol at him stopping anywhere before 8 or 9.

@ready_4_madness: True, but he's Morals off, meaning that Thing has no reason to hold back with anyone here. Therefore it's completely consistent with a current Thing with nothing to lose.

Don't tell me Ben's not consistently been brawling with high tiers. He's literally been doing that even when he was weak af in the early days of FF and couldn't bust large logs

@panzerx: nobody is claimming that that feat is an outlier. It's the context behind the feat. That punch took everything Ben had & put him out for a week. Not only that, but in the end Hulk had no major injuries & got back up a few moments later.

Also, unlike the Hulk, none of these fighters are just going to charge right into Thing's fist (which probably aided him in KO-ing the Hulk). Thing isn't spamming these types of attacks, and if he did he'd end of KO-ing himself in the process.

That didn't stop people like Colossus, Wonder Man, Rom, Hyperion, weakened Hulk, Eric Masterson and hell, Thing himself in their second encounter to shrug his hits off.

He hasn't been getting enough.

It would be arguable if he had TP. Pure h2h he gets destroyed and it's not a question.

He one-shot Immortal Hulk (who had no significant injuries & was back up a few moments later)

Citation needed for "was back up a few moments later". Because the artist for the issue said that Hulk was out for a minute or two.

No Caption Provided

And there was no indication about how long Hulk was out in the issue.

Not only that, trying to lowball the feat by claiming that "he had no injuries and was back up" is pretty useless here since IH's durability is way above everyone in this thread and that particular punch would kill them outright.

with a punch that contained everything he had (which resulted in him being out for a week)

He was out for the weak not just because of the punch, but because he was getting the shit beaten out of him by amped Immortal Hulk for an hour and half, with the arm-shattering punch being the cherry on the the cake.

That definitely isn't standard for Thing. I'm not sure about Gladiator, or Hercules, but he's not making it past seven.

See, the fact that people are so hellbent on discrediting the IH showing makes them forget (or ignore) the rest of the showings Ben has. Just in the recent decade, Ben had a draw with Cho Hulk (someone who fought Savage Hulk to a draw), drew blood from Prodigal with a punch (someone who could tank getting hammered by BRB and tank repeated attacks from Silver Surfer under the same writer), shrugged off hits from Colossonaut (who was said to be given more power than previous Juggernaut hosts by Cyttorak himself) and pulverized his helmet with a punch, drew blood from Phoenix Force Namor and tanked a punch from him without even getting knocked off his feet, overpowered Silver Surfer and had an extended fight against him, casually overpowered beings that strained Invisible Woman's forcefields, tanked a continuous blast from Galactus that was said to be powerful enough to split the planet in two, beat the shit out of amped Higher Evolutionary, hurt Thanos on two separate occasions; just recently he was unaffected by magical plague explicitly because it couldn't get through his skin, even though said plague had no trouble infecting all the Avengers.

And that's just the stuff from this decade. Earlier still he had 3 separate inconclusive fights against Hercules, beat the crap out of Star-Dancer (a planet buster), tanked several hits from Devourer (a being who was stronger than both Ben and Thor combined), physically matched Ultron, broke Quasar's constructs, dominated Annihilus in a fight, tanked a couple of hits from Mangog unharmed, punched through dozens of adamantium walls with vibranium core, wrecked adamantium Absorbing Man, overpowered Silver Surfer again, stomped Wonder Man several times and so on and so forth.

And in most of these showings he wasn't even going all out, since 99% of the time he holds back in order to not accidently kill someone. And here he doesn't hold back. You know what he did when he didn't hold back before? Almost murdered Blastaar (same guy who was beating the crap out of Thor), stomped Dragon Man (who Herc couldn't even KO), stomped Darkoth (a guy who traded blows with Thor for longer than an hour), tore apart a Hulk robot that was said to be almost as strong as the original, one-shot a Doombot that was more powerful than a real Doom, almost beat Johhny Blaze posessed by Spirit of Vengeance (he would have if he didn't stop at the last moment, by Blaze's own admission), cracked Champion's ribs, broke through Invisible Woman's forcefields in 3 hits. Him stopping at Wonder Woman must be a bad joke.

Gladiator's power varies on confidence, of course he's going to have a range of appearances. With that being said, a CV rule is we assume fighters are fighting to the best of their ability, so in this case Gladiator KFTO Thing, and hard stop at 5.

Gladiator was at full confidence in all of these occasions and it didn't stop him from losing to some of these people or failing to hurt them with his hits. Literally the only times the "muh confidence" thing was brought up was in his first FF appearance and in a fight against Cannonball. The "power varies" excuse doesn't fly here. And Ben has beaten people better than Gladiator before.

If its morals off and he can land the punch that he KOd Immortal Hulk with he might clear while also defeating himself lol on average though he should still get pretty far depending how the fights go but purely h2h gives him a much better chance.
