The question is which weapon is better at Piercing/slicing, which obviously is Diana, there's no war that axe is sharper than the sword, the sword is slimmer therefore it's better at slicing.

The only way for the axe to pierce better is if it's wielder is stronger than that of the sword

I don’t think this has anything at all to do with piercing ability.... this is about the durability of the weapon when struck with another weapon.
