Btw rounds 1-7 are pretty even. Everyone has their own opinion on who's stronger than who, so instead of saying "the gauntlets out of order!" Keep that in mind.

@kingzod: I don't think it's out of order in terms of who would win who in a battle. It seems pretty accurate to me, it may only be out of order because certain people would do better against Surfer due to their power set. For example, Martian Manhunter would probably be able to match the Surfer better than H'el would but we all know H'el > Martian Manhunter.

@krleavenger: H'el and Orion can probably be argued but bloodlust Wally is definetely above MMH. Black Adam can be argued however I'm pretty sure he would get the majority over both of them since he is such a beast. Also, I see you've said Captain Atom > Silver Surfer, this is something not many people say. Do you care to state how he wins?

@krleavenger: true. I would say even without the energy absorption it would just be a draw, both characters can do exactly the same thing, both have a 'limitless power source' and both have attributes on par with eachother, it's quite an interesting debate SS vs CA.

Cap's energy absorption isn't that great. That ability is limited, and it's something that Surfer could use against him, potentially. Other energy-based foes have taken advantage of that, sending Cap through time. In Surfer's case, his energy output exceeds Cap's ability to absorb energy.

Without energy absorption, it could be a bit closer. But, regardless, Surfer has displayed more powerful showings than Cap ever has. Strength-wise, Cap probably has the edge. In terms of energy, durability, and speed, I'd go with Surfer, on top of the fact that he has abilities that Cap doesn't have and/or doesn't have defense against.

I think the gauntlet is out of order. Surfer is going to have his hands full with Hal, J'onn, maybe Orion (because of Astro Force), and Wally, in my opinion.

People saying Wally beats SS are waaaay overstating his abilities. No counter to TP, or cosmic manipulation. Martian Manhunter is way more of a threat to SS than Wally.

Yes, but that was in the Astral Plane. It was an impressive feat, but wasn't in normal space. Time is also irrelevant in that plane as well, so quantum jumping wouldn't be possible there.

He only tags him once. Black Racer is chasing after a pregnant woman on her death bed and Atom intervenes by cutting him off. Atom then keeps him occupied by blasting quantum energy blasts at him, but he misses (though I'm not sure if he was shooting his blasts at him to distract him from his chase or not). After that, he blitzes Racer head-on.

I completely forgot about this showing, and Black Racer is easily faster than light (faster than Lightray, kept up with both Wally and Barry, etc), even though Captain Atom caught up with him, cut him off, and easily blitzed him before he could react. Hm... I question whether or not Racer was moving a top speed there, though. That's mainly because Captain Atom isn't anywhere near as fast as the Flashes are.... Regardless, Surfer has more consistent showings of speed than Atom...

Gauntlet is somewhat out of order. Should stop at Despero maybe even Captain Atom

Could stop at 6 or 8, not getting past 9 for sure, gets absolutely stomped at 10.

What are Despero's best TP feats?

Classic Surfer from 616 stops at round 1 at Captain Marvel. No way he beats 6 gods combined into one body. Thor beat him fair amount of times proving Im right. Shazam is basically Thors mirror image in all aspects, even having advantages like unlimited stamina, superior speed and unrestricted flight. Not to mention Shazam is only vulnerable to high levels of magic. Cosmic powers and energies of Surfer will do nothing to him, while Surfer will be hurt back by magic, especially Zeus's lightning. Surfer won't even have speed advantage, which is his tramp card. Shazam has feats that put him on equal ground with Flash.

Sure. Most of what I've read of Despero's TP exploits have been scaling with Jonn, i.e., he's consistently beaten Jonn (save for the once off in Justice League 40, "mayavana").

By chance, would you have an issue number for when Despero TP'd a planet? I don't think I've read that and it sounds like an awesome feat.
