The Punisher in Solid Snake's position

As of the first MGS. Including how the Punisher was in Marvel Max. But he just gets his own regular stuff, not Snake's nanobots or etc. Of course he has equipment for getting to Shadow Moses Island and surviving the cold. Can he take down the members of Foxhound and Liquid Snake and find a way to destroy or at least deactivate Metal Gear Rex (he's allowed to try to steal it too, of course)?

I don't want to say no but I can't say yes. Boss always used infiltration and never aimed for a war. I know for a fact punisher could infiltrate all the same places but I don't know if everything would go the same as it did for boss.

If boss got a 10/10 I'd give punisher a 8/10.
