hard to say, yog-sothoth is a vague creature called god. one that has established feats, the other which is the presence, has undefined powers but little feats.

What feats does Yog have? From what I hear, it's pretty much only Nyarlanthotep that has any feats and from what I hear of that, it's not deliberately close to even touching Presence with all his showings throughout DC and Vertigo put together scaled to the Total Cosmology.

I don't think you can have multiple Omnipotents in a single verse.

@sungsam: Yog-Sothoth is pretty much the Lovecraft equivalent of LT as he is second to Azathoth and is omniscient, omnipresent & nigh-omnipotent.

And is essentially the living embodiment of the omniverse

It could go either way. They seem to be equals in terms of power and have few feats.

I don't think the "Omniverse" was even a thing in fiction during the time periods of Lovecraft's life. Marvel and Dr. Who are pretty much the only fictions that pioneered the definition, and this was long after Lovecraft was dead I believe.

It's pretty hard to define Lovecraft's creations, as they are, after all, "unspeakeable". They have powers whose simple definition would puzzle us. They exist outside of established order, challenging established order. They do not think like us, their minds being alien and incomprehensible. In spite of that, they really are physical beings (as opposed to conceptual ones), and can appear quite stupid or dormant to us.

If Lovecraft's creations were defineable, then they would be Lovecraft entities no more.

yog very easily. a fairer match would be a very powerful great old one or something in the level of hypnos.
