The Prep Tourney signups closed

The Idea:

Basically just choose a prep character.He can be a brick or high tier or whatever but he has to be a great prepper. Prepping has to be something he does regulary and something he is known for. Your char preps wherever he normally preps and you can go to other places. Its up to you to prove he’ll prep there, unless your char has a choose battlefield perks. After picking your char, you have to get perks. You get a week of prep but you can extend that via perks.

Rules/Limits:

Prep Char limit is Iron Man/Batman tier. At best, any character who is powerful without prep should be high tier(morals on Superman level) at best. Now the rules:

1. 15 perk points
2. No time manip. At best, you can only stop/slow down time for a few seconds. Time manip to extend prep is fine but you can only prep for 2 months max.
3. DC are all Pre 52/New 52/Rebirth. Unless otherwise stated
4. Marvel is 616 unless otherwise stated.
5. Wildstorm characters are allowed feats from DC.
6. Manga/Anime characters aren’t allowed.
7. No BFR.
8. You can teleport in combat but not for long distances, only short ones.
9. You cannot interfere with anyone during prep
10. No Reality Wraping
11. 1 Character per person
12. Once a character has been chosen no one else can use him
13. In character unless perks interfere
14. Win by KO, Incap, Death, trapping(say you freeze an enemy). Ask if curious about which other wins are allowed
15. Summons are Thing level and are limited to 20
16. Clones are limited to 2
17. No probability manipulation
18. Size manip isn’t allowed on enemies
19. No Telefrag
20. No insta kill

I was told I can participate so my character is Spider-Man. I assume he won't inherently come with his normal powers but if he does I'll change things. For perks, Unlimited ammo, spider sense, speed equalized, and Deadpools healing. If he does come with spider sense I'll switch that point to an extra 3 days prep

what does the meter do, out of curiousity?

@causeimbatman: It's the decapitated head of silas Renn, a high level time manipulator. Tezzeret hooked some etherium up to his brain giving him control over the head. Now he can use it to sense the possibilities of the future during prep. It doesn't help during combat and he can't actually manipulate time with it

Okay, this sounds fun! I'd have liked to take Spider-Man, but since he has been taken maybe I can use Iron Man instead?

If I get a week of prep even not including the perks, then I'll switch out the 3 days and get spider sense instead. Thanks!

Cool, thanks! And just to confirm, I can use my battlefield to prep in and thus use it to manipulate the amount of prep I get yeah?

@blackspidey2099: yeah but the max is 2 months. And to clarify in case of stupid debating nitpicks, you can get all your gear and tech first and get it to your battlefield/you can instantly go to the battlefield whenever you want

@blackspidey2099: btw you get two adamantium weapons and you can’t get a full on armor as a weapon. Non standard gear doesn’t include anything OP(like when Tony had the IG)

Fair enough. For non-standard gear can I use stuff like Thorbuster or Uru-infused armor?

@blackspidey2099: how powerful is that stuff? Non Standard gear should not be able to stomp a morals on Superman

Someone needs to use Rick or the Maker. Can't have a prep battle without one of them.

@major_hellstorm: can’t use Maker. He’s way beyond Iron Man/Batman tier of prep which is the limit

@causeimbatman: looking back over the feats the Renn-o-meter might allow Tezz to manipulate time but he can't wield it in combat. Only in prep

Thorbuster's main feat is not immediately shattering after a hit from RKT (the other feats are from absorbing Thorforce, so not applicable), and Fear Itself Uru armor is the same as Bleeding Edge armor but made of uru instead of regular materials, so the same material as Mjolnir.

@blackspidey2099: when you say Thorbuster you mean the model 23 that was in the Standoff storyline right? That lasted a pretty long time agaisnt King Thor iirc. That’s pretty powerful

and btw, for anyone with a non standard gear perk you only get one piece of gear and it cannot stomp morals on supes. If its a hax based weapon like telepathy that can stomp morals on supes then sure but it cannot have the raw firepower or stats to stomp morals on supes.
