Mosasaur was 100+ feet by scaling, Megladon has no chance.

@dailyukulele: The size difference between the large meg and the mosasaur doesn't seem that large. The smaller meg has no chance, but I think the size gap between the larger meg and the mosasaur is close enough to where the meg still has a chance.

The Meg from that movie is 20-25m

The Meg loses to that behemoth

The real Megalodon's max size is 18 meters, same to real Mosasaurus.
Megalodon has similarly durable but thicker skin, can swim faster than Mosasaurus, has stronger jaw, razor teeth that tear-and-take anything what fits on its mouth (Mosasaurus has spike teeth like most dinosaur, can devour/injure but can't take a portion from a big creature).

@dailyukulele: According to the website, the jurassic world mosa is 75 ft long and weighs 20 tons.

The larger meg is 80 ft long and weighs 75-100 tons.

This is overkill..the meg was destroying nuclear subs and wrecking boats.

And then theres the biteforce, size of the jaws and breathing issue.

@bearderby: also that scaling is wrong. The gw shark they fed wasn't 6 metres lol, more like 3 max. It was a male not a female. Also the head of the mosa in that scaling is very small compared to the head in the movie.

Its around 8 sharks long so 24 meters which matches the website.

It's closer than many might think

According to JW website and JW posters, the Mosasaurus is "only" around 70 feet in length, which is obviously false

According to movie dialogue, the big Meg is "only" 25 meters in length. But I seriously doubt that.

The big Meg is humongous

If we assume that shark is a normal Great white shark, then the Mega according to this poster is gonna be about the same size as the JW Mosasaurus

If anything, it's possible that the JW Mosasaurus is actually smaller than The Meg using these photos as reference

In this poster, the Meg's TEETH are bigger than the man's head... Of course no real life Megalodon is that big but this is one big shark

In this one, the teeth are nearly the size of the human!

The sizes for both animals are inconsistent in the movies, but they should be close enough to be comparable.

JW Mosasaurus should be anywhere from 100 feet in length to 200 feet plus

The Meg can range from 100 feet and probably caps out at about 150 feet in length.

Battle could still go both ways

Mosa is listed as being 75ft so it probably dies.

The bigger ones eat the smaller one.
