Reason? How close would you say the fight is?

@jashro44: I don't think Metalbat or Prisoner are really factors at all. You could say neither is Black Panther but that just makes it a 3v2, and as far as I know, Carol absorbs Genos blasts making him obsolete, then Tatsumaki gets overwhelmed

@jashro44: I'd suggest replacing PPP with someone like Atomic Samurai and restrict absorbing so Genos doesn't become irrelevant.

Wait, Season 2 is out?

Strength

• As a C-Class hero, Metal Bat smashes in the head of a tooth-monster, cracking it and causing its eye to pop out, seemingly in a single hit. Metal Bat also managed to completely distort and bend his original bat during this fight

• Deflects one of Melzalgald's tentacles with his bat

• Kills Human Bird Grass (off panel) and smashes Junior Centipede in half (again, off panel)

• Breaks free of Senior Centipede's attack. Doubles somewhat as a durability feat.

• Breaks Senior Centipede's claw, sending it flying off into a nearby building. Doubles as a speed/reflex feat.

• One shots Rafflesidon, hitting them hard enough to cause them to burst

• One shots Senior Centipede, causing them to explode

• Despite not doing any damage to it, Metal Bat is able to push Elder Centipede's charge partially into the ground, hitting hard enough to create visible shockwaves in the air

• Hits the ground hard enough to crack the road, flip a couple of cars several meters away and fracture the side of a building at least 5 storeys up

• Hits the ground again, this time not only with enough to force to not only throw up a large cloud of debris at the point of impact, but with enough force to cause all the parked cars within dozens of meters of the epicenter to bounce up off the ground

• Despite never landing a hit on Garou, the hits that Garou deflected left his bones shaking afterwards. Garou says that if he'd taken a single hit he may well have lost the fight

• Stops what was potentially a killing blow short, but it's powerful enough to crack the ground and send out a shockwave despite not making contact with anything

Speed & Reflexes

• Catches two pieces of sushi just as they're about to hit the floor

• Catches the Hero Association sponsor and his son, keeping them from getting injured when Senior Centipede arrives unexpectedly

• Blocks and dodges through Rafflesidon's attacks, severing several of their tentacles in the process

• Is able to go from standing several feet away from Rafflesidon to standing on his head before Rafflesdion can react

• Blocks Garou's surprise attack

• His attack speed increases while fighting Garou despite his injuries, catching Garou by surprise

• Gets within inches of hitting Garou before he notices

Durability & Resistances

• Overcomes the effect of Rafflesidon's sleeping gas by hitting himself in the head. It should be noted that the same sleeping gas caused normal humans to pass out instantly

• Takes multiple hits from Senior Centipede; once he overcomes Rafflesidon's sleeping gas, he seems to completely dismiss the damage inflicted on him by Senior Centipede moments before

• Gets smashed into a building by Elder Centipede seemingly without taking any significant damage

• Gets thrown hundreds of meters through the air, smashing into a metal railing. He then gets up seconds later as if nothing happened

• Takes a powerful hit from Garou, but manages to right himself with his bat and counter attack

• Takes dozens of hits from Garou and eventually gets knocked down, although only temporarily; Metal Bat gets up again even after Garou apparently downs him. Earlier in the fight Garou says that given how heavily Metal Bat is bleeding he should barely be conscious, and that he had multiple fractured bones

All these feats alone put Metal Bat as a Town/City buster at least. Anything below is lowballing. Also this is just one character to. Fodders can still be deadly, and on top of that Tony, Carol, and She-Hulk are limited.

@major_hellstrom: Actually nvm, she has shown it in the manga it just was never expanded upon until the webcomic so that changes nothing.

@jashro44: I said not every single event is the same, but the major stuff always stays the same. The manga usually just makes the action more exciting.

It’s still the primary canon though.

Black Panther isn’t a factor at all. Tatsumaki should be able to handle Carol eventually. Atomic Samurai can handle Iron Man. The OPM team gangs up on She-Hulk and Tatsumaki is an MVP. It’s not a really easy fight or anything, but this is basically 4 VS 2 in favor of OPM.
