Because it really doesn't add much to the site and is corrupt as anything. Seriously, it's actually crazy how much nonsense went on with most of these nominations behind the scenes; even I was amazed going though the stories that people had at the time.

@professorrespect: i can attest to the first few rounds, or did you mean later nominations that are not in the op?

HoF never meant much but if you contact ET he probably will bring it back.

@thewatcherking: It used to, and honestly, I'm not in any of the comic vince discords anymore so I don't really have a means, that is if there are still some around.

There's a good few in the first few rounds, but it also showed up a lot with later selections. Quite significant, and I don't see that not being a thing now what with the multitude of different CV groups and discords. Maybe if it is reformed by non-bias sources.

@professorrespect: oh you mean clique think or biased votes? Yeah those were and are indeed a thing, however with the links given everyone can form their own opinion whether the person stated deserved the position on the exampled thread.

I nominate myself on account of my zero CaVs and my contribution to the cringe posts of CV.

@maalik: My main issue is that the guys you think desrve it are unlikely to get in. Troll voting seems to be the most common thing now.

@emperorthanos-: Not that I'm nomination myself for this or anything (I would have to be higher than Mountain Dew to try something like that), but is this still something that gets updated? It's a really cool idea.

uh...what is this? Was bored and wanted to check this out. How does this work? Like we nominate a debate we enjoyed watching unfold?

@chris2kzombieki: Basically, prior to ET discontinuing the thread it was a yearly thing, the best debaters of the year would get nominated alongside their peers and put into a voting system, the winners of the voting would get placed into the debaters HoF along with links to the CAV's/Debates they had participated in.

These were the rules originally:

• Do no vote for anyone already in the HOF.
• The top 5 people with 20 or more votes will get in.
• Everyone can vote for only five of the nominees on the nominee list below. Only those on the list.
• You cannot vote for someone twice
• You cannot vote for yourself, though campaigning is allowed. Only one campaign post per page.
• For your vote to be counted you must tag the person you vote for.
• You need a minimum of 500 posts to make a vote.
• Please base votes on the behaviors of the debaters listed and the talent they have shown in their debates
• No derogatory comments about other members choices
