@supermanwithatan01: Yeah Perpetua got her crisis energy from the Source and created the Multiverse (her best feat) and The Darkest Knight got his powers from an alternate Dr. Manhattan and Crisis Energy, as for Manhattan and Perpetua being evenly matched it's hard to say but I think Manhattan has better feats considering he ended the multiverse.

I thought Hecate created the multiverse and the sphere of the gods or something like that...?

@supermanwithatan01: Depends on how you interpret their feats, Doc Manhattan at the height of his power ended everything (which is vague so it could be universal or multiversal) and Perpetua built the multiverse at her peak, and Hecate made all the magic in the multiverse.

Well then I’m torn. haha I think creating is impressive but it could be a spark that turns into a forest fire, the spark is hardly the force the forest fire is, on the other hand, destroying things seems easier but might be more impressive given the scope at which those ends might reach. Could I ask your personal opinion?

@supermanwithatan01: I think its the opposite, a lot of time destroying things is like a spark causing a forest fire, like for example Superman destroying a multiverse by shaking up its foundations, basically causing a chain reaction. I think creating a multiverse is impressive but Perpetua hasn't gained all her power back since like forever, as of now she's destroying universes one at a time, whereas Manhattan just ended everything casually, depending on how you interpret that he could've ended all timelines, the multiverse or just one universe.

I guess Perpetua would be above Manhattan since his power was stolen by the Batman Who Laughs, and Snyder kind of threw away everything that happened in Doomsday Clock, and by hierarchy she's supposed to be higher, however she's had some low ends of her own whereas Manhattan was pretty consistent feat wise.

I understand your opinion I just think we disagree on something that may be the ultimate balance of existence lol creation vs destruction. I imagine they’re relatively equal.

For me, I look at the power of creation as more impressive but still benefitting from an exponential growth from that catalyst. Like birthing an idea that grows into something incredible. I also hold respect for destruction since I believe it’s somewhat more difficult to achieve at destroying that idea after it’s taken flight.

The Big Bang created the universe from a mass the size of a quarter, and it continues to expand and has taken a life unto itself. The destruction of all that follows feels like more impressive but it’s only my opinion. I would say, creation is more impressive, but destruction seems more difficult when it accounts for everything*

@supermanwithatan01: Depends on how the multiverse was created, it's possible it may have continued to grow on its own but its also possible Perpetua had all the raw power needed to create it at once, and destroying the multiverse is arguably just as impressive but the multiverse in comics is destroyed far more times than it's created, so it kind of diminishes the feat in comparison to actually creating a multiverse, however the Darkest Knight intends to destroy and create his own multiverse, so he's supposed to be really powerful.

I get that. I quite agree that there’s a new “creator” or “destroyer“ of universes and multiverses every other year in Marvel and DC. Thinking of all the instances I can, I’m actually annoyed at writers overuse of those prospects.
