@Lunacyde: I'd say Moo Mesa takes it..they have guns..the street sharks don't do anything really but rollerblade.

I'm undoubtedly late af, but yes and no; I'm certain it's within or around the first two episodes they are shown to be bullet resistant but not really bulletproof. They seemed to have got more agitated and spooked than hurt and just "swam" underground and away from the ambush of gunfire.
