What? Each universe has it's own IG. For instance, the IG of 616 cannot affect 617 or function inside 617. It doesn't matter where the fight takes place or where the IG works, it is a universal artifact.

I think that Lucifer vs Thanos with IG thread explained this already.  
Lucifer would simply trick Thanos out of the IG.

i dig thanos and the ig,But and heres the thing,as uber powerful as thanos is with it,those two are too much to best,against lucifer it would be a better fight,even them he will be in trouble,but with michael also hes dust.

@Illuminatus: yes and no,he was just about under the LT in that storyline,he would be able to give lucifer a fight for sure since its says he is omnipotent with the IG,but thats another battle i guess.

Any of the two can solo.

Well Thanos power is constant and cant rise or fall with time. Although Michael and Lucifer serve Yahweh Himself..... hard fight. But I dont see him being able to fight both of them at the same time
