Loool karathen solos u can’t put them against a kaiju that literally has never taken any damage the entire time it was on screen even though it busted thru earths mantle and crust covered in lava and took on like 4 armies on the bottom of the ocean casually swatting giant ships aside

Sanctuary II was really dissapointing. Thanos's army can't even harm Karathen except Thanos with his sword. Thanos gets bombarded by 1000s of blasts while Karathen crushes the entire outrider+chitauri army.

OP clearly wasn't aware of SII's full arsenal but since he didn't state any limitation or battle conditions.....There's no reason to think Thanos wouldn't just do whatever he wants in this battle.So......here's how it goes :

-Atlantis :"We have an army , a 2-mile long fish ,a bunch of torpedoes,Tsunami generator and Jason Mamoa."

-Thanos :"We have orbital WMD bombs."

-Thanos :

Kraken solos it’s literally 2 miles in length basically the size of the battle ground in endgame add all the fodder trenchers and other battle artillery Atlantis has and it’s a stomp

We don't know the exact damage it can do but such a massive explosion that at bare minimum is like 1/50 the diameter of a planet should not be any less than island or large city level. Plus the blast actually caused a city sized blackout if you look closely so those are definitely legit Megatons tier nuke which the Atlanteans would have no hope against..

With that said however , applying those massive bombs to this battle is being really generous to Thanos not only because it's unfair but also because Thanos doesn't seem to use those in combat but only for orbital bombardment since that requires fire power on a massive scale and must be done quick . In an army to army war , Thanos seems to prefers deploying his actual (rather weak) army that could be effective for decapitation tactics or invasions of defenseless planets but isn't that great for field combat ( not enough troops , way to little air crafts with most of them being either impractical or downright too weak for an air battle such as Leviathans which are durable but are slow and have little offensive capability aside from bullrushing on to stuff , chariots have decent HE cannons but are way too fragile and leave the riders completely exposed to attacks , they work better as support for infantry but Thanos uses them as legit air crafts even though they're under equipped to be so ).

His army also has no artilery batalions but rather relys on the ship's close range artilery which is fine but if the ship gets destroyed then they're F.......

So basicly , Thanos' army from those draw backs would get stomped by Atlantis (even without Karathen) for reasons you've already know unless you up his troops significantly , give him a good battle tactic that he didn't use and increase his artilery support too ( You remember that I did exactly that in my version of this match up and even then it's still debatable ) . Still it's not really because of Atlantis' guns , I thought we agree that not all Atlanteans' guns were like that and not even guns mounted on artilery crafts were that good because the cliff busting gun was a test model ???

So to summarise :

- If it's just a regular army clashing fight then Thanos's army dies in 4 seconds and the ship lasts 10 seconds more until Karathen manages to bring it down..

-If Thanos finally defeats his Ego and decides to just use WMD then Atlantis gets vaporised.

Yes agreed completely.

If he uses WMDs then Atlantis gets wiped out. If he uses the same army he used to attack Avengers compound in EG then he gets stomped
