Win via any method. Raven is bloodlusted and at FULL POWER! Thanos is in character with his arms crossed.

Wasn't she able to fight Trigon at one point? She might win but standard version gets stomped horribly.

All the spine destroying poses in the world won't stop Thanos from annihilating Raven.

Only with a major backing from her dad, which has never happened before, could Raven pull this one off in an actual fight.

That said, the OP states it's win by any means, which leaves Raven the option of BFR'ing him or simply immobilizing him the same way she did the Titans.

I highly doubt this option would work considering her TK has never been powerful enough to overpower a being with planetary level strength. Not to mention he could just K.O her with a single TP blast.

Do explain how he is going to avoid getting BFR'ed.

Since Thanos doesn't actually have that kind of strength to begin with, she wont need to (don't bring up the fight with Drax because the planet was still there after they were done). And if she can pin down two characters far the excess of the 100 ton class in strength with ease, why not him? Especially since you could stick him in an amber cage and it holds him with no trouble.

All that they were standing on was a relatively small piece of an entire planet. Not only that, but grappling with a being that can tear apart a star with his bare hands(and winning) is more than enough proof to point towards planet level strength. If you honestly believe Thanos doesn't possess that level of physical aptitude then you'd have to believe that every character he's physically manhandled with strength and durability showings of planetary level, aren't of that level. People like Norrin, and Lord Marvell.

Second of all, you've gotta be kidding me if you believe Superboy and Donna are as strong as Thanos. Neither one of them had any feats even close to city-level damage let alone what Thanos or any of the people he's overpowered are capable of. Hell them combined don't have any strength feats above Ben Grimm someone who's been oneshotted by Thanos multiple times.

Norrin isn't known for being able to punch planets into powder and neither is Mar-Vell. they may have the power to blast planets into powder, but that still not strength.

I was actually thinking Starfire rather than Superboy, and the two girls have far in excess of what Grimm is capable of. Regardless, a block of amber was still able to hold him, and thats hardly diamond hard substance.

They've both withstood planetary level damage and Surfer himself has destroyed a planet by grappling with Morg (which ended with Morg K.Oed and Surfer standing triumphant). That planetary level durability showing didn't prevent Thanos from nearly beating him to death..twice. Not only that, but again Drax has ripped a star apart with his hands and Thanos overpowered him. A feat that's head over heels better than any Kori or Donna has.

My mistake, Superboy wasn't a titan at the time. My point still stands, neither powerhouse has any strength feats Ben couldn't and hasn't replicated let alone what Thanos is capable of. Raven has no TK feats to suggest she'd be able to overpower Thanos, and she still has no defense against a telepathic attack or any energy based attack he can muster with a thought.

@juiceboks: Blowing a part of it away still doesn't make it 'destroyed' when most of it was still there.

Also it sounds like a complete pile of garbage from the time Marvel was playing catch up to DC's Silver Age. Drax was more powerful back then, Superman was more powerful back then, Dr. Strange was more powerful back then... this is not 'back then'. The only difference is that DC has it's Crisis' to explain the gradual depowering, while Marvel just quietly let the power-level of 20-30 years ago run out into the sand.

You should stop. Ben Grimm can't shift the Hulk any more, Donna and Kori are nearly considered physically equal and both of them can and have punched Wonder Woman around, either of them would rip Benjy from the block a new one, and when in an evil mood Raven could pin both down with zero effort.

For one, I have never suggested, nor do I believe Raven could overpower Thanos' mental defences anymore than I think he would or could over power hers (since it's not a normal thing for him to use), Thanos' best feat is manipulating someone that was unconcious, while Raven's empathy spans the planet. In regards to blasts, she can just teleport aside, Thanos isn't any faster on a draw than Cyborg is and she's dodged that.

All that said. I still think it's extremely unlikely Raven would win a solo encounter with Thanos even at her most powerful, but she is not just going to be brushed aside because she only has one tool in her box.

So your argument is that feats from an earlier time period should be discarded because in your opinion Marvel was trying to emulate DC's silver age comics even though Thanos' feats mainly started in the 90's? And it's plainly clear that he's only been getting more powerful since then? Are you kidding me? So feats involving Drax from a time when he was more powerful should be discarded because..he's not as powerful as he was anymore? Even if you had an argument here, that still doesn't address Thanos' feats against Silver Surfer that prove he has planetary level strength. You really can't debate this.

Starfire has bullrushed Wonder Woman when she wasn't expecting it and was clearly holding back. I don't recall Donna ever fighting Wonder Woman to a standstill. The notion that they're Diana's equal in ANYTHING is ludicrous, and specifically their standalone strength feats aren't even comparable. The Thing has better quantifiable strength feats than they do. Feel free to bring up any feats like holding up a bridge, playing baseball with a skyscraper sized tower as a bat and a large spaceship as the ball, or bench pressing a falling building. I guarantee you you won't find any greater than those from these two.

Raven doesn't have any notable mental defenses, at least to the manner of telepathy attack I'm referring to. Thanos has actually owned Moondragon, destroyed Kosmos' mind, and taken control of Hulk. What? Cyborg is nowhere near as fast as Thanos, that should be obvious. I don't understand why you keep trying to lowball Thanos.

That's exactly what's going to happen. Her only chance is teleport him to a different dimension but he can destroy her a multitude of ways before that happens.

Since this match stipulated on Raven having full backing from her father, Trigon, she will absolutely DESTROYED Thanos!

Raven at her peak will obliterate Thanos, it is indeed a spite fight but is against poor Thanos. I think some people have little to no idea about what is she capable of.

Raven from OP pic had simply oneshotted her brothers, and her brothers were powerful and fast enough to play with and put down the Titans in various ways, including Wally West Flash.

On top of their already great powers her brothers also aquired from Trigon enough power to destroy Raven (who is implied through all her history to have herself enough power to destroy the universe and more), her world and her universe (main DC universe). Raven not that just easily oneshotted all her brothers but didn't even considered she need their powers for herself, to become even more powerful. She just started to transfer their powers into the Titans, to transform them in her evil companions and servants to rule the main DC at her side.

In other incarnation her brothers where relaxing playing poker in an omniversal room with millions of universes colliding around and through them (even Phantom Stranger find really difficult to move around there) and they are considered weak and useless by Trigon and Raven still trash them around.

Previously Raven also teleported in such omniversal nexus and summoned from there the emotions of all who live, from all dimensions, searched through them and found a single person she was looking for. In other instance she had contained, controled and mold to her needs an entire universe of souls and thoughts. She will casualy mind control Thanos at this level and make him live and do to him and to his soul unspeakable horror things.

A Thanos amped with his various artefacts or so might be a fairer fight and even then won't be sure who's the winner

Ok so some people don't understand this but Raven can destroy universe's and nobody could get in her way Raven holds one of the most powerful beings in the Galaxy just in her forehead (Trigon) she can easily obliterate Thanos

Now if Thanos had his infinity stones he could snap her out of existence and could go back in time and stop her before she can even become Raven but Thanos alone still doesn't stand a chance.

I'd say the cosmic cube would be a better matchup, base Thanos has a few energy and mind attacks which shouldn't do anything to Raven, she's relative to trigon who would more then less oneshots the mad Titan without weapons, since he's a multi Dimensional beast, and could contend with mister Mxyzptlk
