The IG does not, in fact, grant omnipresence nor does it grant omniscience. Having said this, Lucifer should be on the same tier as Micheal which is one tier below The Presence. Lucifer has Omniscience, and might I dare say nigh-omnipotent. Some of you may disagree with me, but Lucifer created a multiverse with Michaels power and also helped create D.C. verse. Also destroyed countless CREATIONS, universes, dimensions, and this is practically limitless in power.
The Spectre was swatted by both Micheal & Lucifer and discarded as inferior.

The only way to even make Thanos even close enough to win is with the HOTU, but that would be almost spite the other way, with TOAA comparable levels.

Micheal and Lucifer created all of creation from scratch the entire multiverse. When they say creation they mean all creation because they literally made it all.

Dude they created the entire multiverse from scratch Lucifer has called it a multiverse Lucifer has literally shown up to a universe and it completely collapsed because of his mere presence literally all went white just because he showed up.

What I meant by universal range is that outside of the universe it’s from it wouldn’t work as we’ve seen. Luci has power over all of the things that the gauntlet is made out of he literally warped them all to create all of creation he has made souls and humans placed time and space into his multiverse the guy can do it all.

Lucifer takes this with no difficulties at all.

Lucifer has those powers on a multiversal scale and he’s smarter, Lucifer isn’t losing this fight. He’s above death and all the endless you had to scale and use different charecters feats to showcase feats that Lucifer can do on his own in an even bigger scale.

And my point is that if comic book readers need to be spoon fed with the word 'multiverse' everytime because if not it doesn't mean 'everything' when the word itself means that, then we all have a problem.

@thegreatlordd: i get your point, just find it silly that it HAS to be specifically said to be multiverse otherwise it isn't all creation even if the word itself means that. Logically speaking there is no such thing as, as you said, 'single universe' because that translates to 'single everything', because everything is everything, there is no "this everything" and "that everything" and "those everythings".

What will happen when in the future we are presented with another 'universe' in the MCU? Will it change to Marvel Cinematic Multiverse? MCM? people will still call it universe even if it is a "multiverse".

This seems to be the case for Carey/Vertigo, although there are many times in Comics where a Multiverse is treated as bigger than a Universe.

His definition of "multiverse" is a single universe with dimensions (think like Hell or 5th dimension), which is basically like every normal universe.

So overall the entire thing was universal, simple as that. Though the mental gymnastics are hillarious in this thread. :D

No, Lucifer is not only Universal. It's been debunked on panel when he destroyed the Mansions of Silence by merely existing without even using his powers, which contained other "Creations" and "Rejected Universe(s)" and likely contained Infinite Mirrors as per Presence's allegory of infinity.

Mike Carey's definition of Universe in general means all of existence, not a local space time, but all of existence, this includes all the Infinite Sized Realms of the Endless, Heaven and Hell that are both Infinite or immeasurable in size, all the Infinite Worlds fractionally Different from a Universe as per Dream of a Thousand Cats and etc and the Higher Dimensional Space in Creation in Elaine's panel. All of them are colloquially below the Totality of Creation that which Lucifer is at an "All Existence" level in totality scale power.

Lucifer can seriously destroy everything below the Source Wall.

Lucifer gets more powerful when scaled to Main DCU Cosmology and applying future retcons to Sandman themes to M. Carey feats. Like Grant Morrison places the Main DC Multiverse under Destiny's Book, which Lucifer burned. And the fact that he is at a level of power equal or above the Endless who are described as Primal Truths of Creation, and Wave Functions in a Quantum Multiverse and the fact that Heaven and Hell are Multiverses. But it is debatable if we can scale Lucifer to N52 Cosmology due to his lack of involvement in the narratives there.

Lucifer has scaling problems mostly involved with in-DC Cosmic Hierarchy issues, but he is not, by any means just Universe level. He's pretty damn likely infinite tiers above Multiversal with the likes of an Unbound Divine Spectre, Pralaya, Death, Time and Night, WF Mxy and Synnar possibly either nearly rivaling, contending or surpassing him, now maybe it is questionable if he is on Beyonder level based on interpretation and gauging issues, but he's up there.
