I believe Inbetweener holds alot more powerfull, but he's nothing Thanos hasn't handled before, and handled him quite well when he took his infinity gem of him

hmm. i thought that the reason why they put him in that bubble was to restrict him from using his powers outside.

No.It was designed to keep In Betweener in that realm so he could escape. The restriction of power was a another measure of punishment to keep him check. Thanos took advantage of situation .Thats when In Betweener attempted to strike down Thanos outside the bubble his powers didn't work.He was also vulnerable to mortal attack as well. Otherwise Thanos's goose would have been cooked.

he was vulnerable to thanos mortal attacks because thanos was empowered by death plus he had 3 gems (power, time and space) i don't remember thanos using the gems on inbetweener, but i'm sure he was either protected by them or it was because of death, since thanos was the bringer of death's wishes of collecting the infinte gems to begin with. now inbetweener is just as powerful as galactus playing his share of the role of ballance, but even inbetweener as an avatar of master order & lord chaos isn't at lady deaths level which thanos is protected by.

The bubble was so the the In-Betweener could not escape the Nexus of Realities, but still be able to utilize his powers otherwise. In-Betweener was powerless otherwise at the Fulcrum because it is where Chaos and Order meet harmoniously and therefor there are no dichotomies for the In-Betweener's powers to function.

Thanos had no gems when he went up against the In-Betweener in the Thanos Saga, as the In-Betweener's Soul Gem was the first he acquired. Also, Thanos was not 'protected' by lady death - he had just been power boosted, but even then was weaker than the In-Betweener at that point. The In-Betweener's powers just did not function outside the bubble (see above).
