Assuming Bill is not even close to some of cosmic entities or abstracts Thanos faced, who ranged anywhere from universal to multiversal in power, then I'd be inclined to say that IG Thanos can by all means affect him.

Time Baby also has some level of reality warping. A gladiator style tournament hosted by him granted the winners a "time wish" from him to the victor, which was suppostedly able to alter entire timelines and delete people from ever existing

Bill does not have actual feats above city level, but it has been implied that he could EASILY warp reality at planet level, and he was suprised when his wierdmageddon didn't

Its also worth noting that Bill is from a diffrent dimension, so that is probably why people dont think the IG will work on him. (which is nonsense)

I didn't see anything in that video that would put him above Odin, let alone put him on the same footing as actual high-end reality warpers such as Mr. Mxyzptlk or Beyonder.

@mysticmedivh: Sorry, it is difficult to explain when the other one doesn't know the other character. Imagine a being that by simple entering to another dimension can wrap the reality to match whatever he wished in seconds. A being that was only damaged by a) a quantum destabilizer or b) punching him with the shields that keep him trapped in one place, and that is only very short solution because physical damage doesn't affect him. A being that can change size to planet level in seconds. A being that can destroy you molecule to molecule in seconds if he willed it. And the only way to destroy him is trapping him in your mind (which he needs to enter willfully) and selfdestroy your own mind.

TBH, while arguing for Thanos is easy, this is an unfair argument to make. Whenever you have a character who is super powerful, you need to nerf him to give the heroes a fighting chance. I mean, he can instantly turn people into stone and transmute and create matter, yet he simply chases after Mable and Dipper like a Scooby Doo villain? Yeah, PIS. If Franklin Richards lost to Iron Man because he would just chase after him and let him get shot in the face, people would be face palming themselves as well.

It's a kid show.

I remember someone earlier saying that bill count defeat two kids and two seniors. This is because he needed something from Stanford pines (senior) , so he didn't kill his brother Stanlee Pines ( senior) and the kids Dipper and Mabel pines, but instead in the end he was tricked and was erased from reality ( it is still unknown if he actually died). Bill's powers seem almost infinite as we see him offer Stanlee his own galaxy and infinite power as he is being erased in Stans mind (by stans mind being erased using memory gun). I don't know how far up this reality warping scale goes, so I'm going to guess and say that bill is top tier, because he seems to be able to warp the reality of an entire universe. Did I mention that bill BURNED an entire dimension. I don't think I even saw thanos do that without the infinity stones. So unless thanos has a quantum destabilizer or a memory gun, I don't see him defeating bill. And also if bill and thanos ever meet, bill will have his physical form and it said in the journal in wierdmaggedon pt 1 that if bill gets physical form, all hope is loss. He can also warp and change the laws of reality, physics, time, space, and existence. And bill wasn't even trying when he killed time baby (the force required to do so would be equivalent to 15 nuclear bombs) So, yeah. Good luck thanny.

Considering in guardians of the galaxy we are informed that even without the stones Thanos is the most powerful being in the universe. His double bladed sword is ridiculous op. It broke captain america's shield like it was glass, and the shield is made out of the strongest material on Earth. Thanos was able to defeat the most physically strong avenger (Hulk) in one-on-one without ANY stones or the sword. And he is able to beat Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor without any stones as well. Thanos was easily able to defeat any of the MCU characters in one-on-one combat. People often think that Thanos is just an uber physically strong grape-man without the stones. But thanos is a being with higher powers as well.

Bill Cipher may be a powerful dream demon, but he was outsmarted easily. Bill Cipher is able to over power most humans, but thanos is no human. He is a member of a species called a Celestial, beings with almost God like power. We can't just assume (even with weirdmageddon) that bill would simply be able to do away with thanos like preston northwest. Itwould most likely be a very and long drawn out battle. There is no way bill would be able to overpower Thanos in the mindscape. Thanos is cunning, and is extrmely strong mentally. A battle in the mindscape would ensure a quick thanos victory. So the battle would most likely take place in the physical world. It would be close but eventaully I think thanos would emerge victorious.

Im assuming thanos only has 5 of the 6 infinity stones, consdiering he could just snap cipher out of existence with 6. even with one stone thanos would wipe bill cipher face. The stones control a part of existence and are the MOST POWERFUL ARTIFACTS EVER. Literally created by the big bang at the start of the universe. It is a no contest Thanos win. Cipher would literally be able to do nothing.

Comic Thanos doesn't use swords and often doesn't need equipment to fight. MCU Thanos is much weaker than his comic counterpart.
