I'm curious what Legion has done to put him above IG Thanos in your view? Especially the original IG which was far above the later universal only IGs in power.

Base thanos should stop at the omega level mutans, infinity gauntlet thanos however might possibly stop at franklin richards as he is more powerful than galactus who stomped thanos with the infinity gauntlet one time

IG Thanos literally stomped Galactus and all the other Marvel abstracts in the original Infinity story. Why do people keep bringing up that one instance in that one comic where some people even argue is possibly not even canon?

@takenstew22: I don't see how the 1000th issue of marvel comics is non canon, it literally retold the history of iconic marvel heroes, maybe it was a bad assessment on my part, but thanos with the infnity gauntlet stomp galactus only once and there was never an instance where they fought again except apparently two months ago where galactus won. So how can you say that there will never be an instance where thanos can lose to galactus when it literally just became a thing?

Because the IG has already been shown to be above Galactus. Literally in the same story Thanos beated Eternity with it and replaced his role as one with the universe, and Eternity > Galactus. It's funny how after all this time people agree with this moment yet suddenly in a recent comic with no context people suddenly say "oH mY gAwD gAlAcTuS > iG".

@takenstew22: again that was only a single instance, show me another fight where thanos with the inifnity gauntlet is portrayed to be consistently above galactus, a single storyline doesn't determine the outcome of everything, things can change, a writer can just easily have galactus above thanos nowadays without taking any consideration of the past, besides it was an old storyline anyways. Before it was said that galactus was the cosmic sentience of the 7th universe, but now Ewing wrote him to be the cosmic sentience of the 7th multiverse, see? that was a big jump from being a universal force to a multiversal force. The thanos that beat eternity was an m body and even eternity said to adam warlock who was wielding the infinity gauntlet that his totality woul have won against warlock implying that their full manifestations>the infinity gauntlet and galactus is on par with them nowadays. What is there to give context? It's not like it was a statement or anything, it was a single panel that was fought in a couple of seconds, there was no one but them and it was pretty clear cut galactus won. Nice strawman, I even addressed that it was a one time win in my initial comment, actually try and debate properly if you're gonna address my argument
