Gauntlet is mostly considered below mxyzptlk (and especially anti monitor) who is far below perpetua.

Gauntlet's power barely reaches an imp level, if reaches at all.

Perpetua by nature is fairly above the reach of gauntlet or even weapons superior to gauntlet

Hotu is better weapon against perpetua.gauntlet might be better weapon against someone like mxyzptlk
