Danny's intangibility allows him to simply phase through steven's shield

He doesn't need to match him in raw power. All he has to do is phase through and then freeze him with ice for an incap. Heck overshadowing him would be useful to since it would knock him out.

But he's definitely getting blitzed heavy round 2.

actually Stevens powers renderintangibilityuseless as seen when Steven poofed the Glass ghost which just like Danny can phase at will.

and considering most of Stevens attacks rely on some variant of his shield the usual vs debate tactic of phase till you win won't work here

@crystalgemluva: Can you show the Glass Ghost phasing? Also, Danny's intangibility is a bit different from the usual tbh.

If Stevens shields can stop the glass Ghost from touching him then I don't see why Danny would have any better luck.

@crystalgemluva: this is an entirely different kind of phasing if this is the only scan you have. It seems like its merging with the wall which caused damage.

How Danny's intangibility works is similar to Obito from Naruto if you ever watched it. Its as if he's on another plane when he's using his intangibility. Its nothing like what you are showing for this Glass Ghost.

@deathhero61: it didn't merge with the wall, it went through the wall, the thing that looks like a hole is actually glass. the cracks in the wall are the result of Steven slamming her into said wall.

also, doesn't Danny have trouble phasing through energy? specifically energy barriers like Stevens?

Then that means his powers stem from a form of transmutation. Meaning contact with his body would change matter into glass. This isn't intangibility.

In Danny Phantom, ghosts have phased through energy and explosions on occasion. The only barriers that have stopped him are those specifically designed to stop him.

The Glass Ghosts intangibility has nothing to do with its matter manipulation, if it did then it would have phased through Stevens shield when it started turning into glass.

heck even going by your own logic the Glass Ghost would still be phasing through glass which still showcases its phasing capabilities.

also while explosions don't really bother Vlad, explosions still affect Danny even while he's phased as seen here. also could you please show me a gif of Danny phasing through energy attacks?

danny wins both round if he uses ecto skeleton in round 2 he can maybe win without it in both rounds i guess

danny has taken on much more threatening foes who have immense levels of power such phariah dark, dark danny and that plant guy whos name i cant remember each of them showing great and high feats also danny is much more faster than steven since he can dodge lasers and has a much more varied arsenal making him stronger if he can get up-close to steven which he can easily using his intangibility and invisibility if he gets up close he can destroy steven just by using his ghostly wail and he also had power to make the whole earth intangible obviously he needed help from other ghosts but that still proves that he can turn a big part of the earth intangible which btw requires a lot of power he even took on freak show who has the reality gauntlet while saving his loved ones this shows how much powerful danny is and how he can beat pink steven

and if we include the ecto skeleton or the 10 years later version this fight was over the moment it began

And he is how strong exactly? Just saying dude is strong does not give me a clear comparison. Steven scales to characters who destroyed half of a mountain. A MOUNTAIN. Danny best feats would be him scaling to dark Danny shaking a city which is no where close to destroying half of a mountain.

That plant guy best feat was causing storms around the planet. It’s not even really a ap feat tho and more of a aoe feat so it’s pretty useless honestly.

Pink steven is faster tho, but still ain't Touching Danny unless he decides to be Tangible.
