Can Team Kurenai succeed where Team Guy has?

Kisame would win, The MVP in the match against Kisame was Gai via 6th Gate without that Neji, Lee and Gai did not stand a chance

Gai > Kurenai, Kurenai has very low tier taijutsu and has never displayed ninjutsu, she is a complete Genjutsu type ninja, Kisame being partner of Itachi likely has high experience via genjutsu type ninjas.

NEji > Hinata, Hinata is even less of a ninja than Ten Ten.

Shino places parasitic insects on everyone without them knowing which could in all cases end the fight right there, the clone gets overpowered by Fang over Fang, and Hinata actually can escape water prison in the same manner Neji did. However if Kisame makes it 1-on-1 with Kurenai she gets fodderized.

Does Kisame have Samehada here? If so, he can break out of Genjutsu.

Otherwise he more than likely loses.

Kurenai captured a 100% Kisame long enough to prevent him from attacking Asuma. A 30% Kisame should be just as easy.

However, I don't see what possible damage they could do to put him down within that time. Neji's airpalm barely did much against him, so that rules out what Hinata has to offer. The only way I see him going down would be to use Shino to drain him out.

Kisame should win unless Shino pulls off something crazy.

I would back Kisame due to the other team's lack of feats.
