Why would you make a battle between omnipotents? TOAA beats everyone of team DC barring Overmonitor [Assuming he is the real omnipotent god of DC]. Overmonitor in the same way wrecks everyone of team marvel except TOAA. Then they would stalemate each other. There isn't anything to discuss here imo.

I get what he means, TOAA gets powers from external system.

Oblivion is nothingness, Nothingness is all things that isn’t creation.

Meaning logically Oblivion would be a candidate for being the system if he hadn’t stated in multiple occasions he is below TOAA.

TOAA doesnt get power from external source.

Marvel's wins due to the fact that they can stalemate DC omnipotence with there own and then have nigh omnipotents which are much above the angels.

@damnineedabreak: It was stated by TOAA that his powers work because of a system that can be affected by the order of things occurring in the multiverse.

That’s also why regulator thanos wanted to commit suicide and thanos had to stop him. Because even with all his power he was bound to the same system TOAA was and he wasn’t truly onmipotent.

Like I said the system has no name and it’s unknown what or who it is.

@damnineedabreak: I mean it’s not about whether you think he was toned down since it’s the authors intention he’s power is based of a system, unless information comes in contradicting that which is recent and after the events of infinity conflict feelings/bias can be put aside.

@firstmanofsteel: it was specifically made for the story, if he truly was omnipotent he couldnt have gotten beat by the Astral Regulator, so either Thanos was omnipotent or TOAA just wasn't. Its clear TOAA is omnipotent unless they story requires him not to be and Infinity Conflict was the case here, unless ofc TOAA was never omnipotent.
