And Lucy literally rewrote Natsu's magic so that 'END' was no longer a part of his core. On top of that, Zeref was resolved to win by that point.

The simply truth is that FH Zeref is a massive disappointment and a bit of a joke character. He should have amazing hax yet has awful feats/anti-feats.

Tatsumaki has feats far above the DGs and Acnologia who Zeref even with FH fears, plus he lost to Natsu whos feats are fodder to Tatsu, she stomps change my mind.
