Taskmaster and Gambit VS Mister Freeze and Red Hood

• Fight is in character, though characters on the same team will work together

Etienne and Masters. Etienne can easily destroy Freeze's suit or just destroy his helmet, which would eventually kill him.

Taskmaster is just better than Jason, there's nothing else to say really.

This suits the scenario.

He avoids killing because he's living under Xavier's roof, and those are Xavier's rules. But he doesn't actually have any problem with killing. Kinda like Wolverine when it comes to that.

Taskmaster and Gambit.

Team 1

Going to go with the majority here. Freeze is going to get blown up by Gambit. Tasky blocks and evades Jason long enough to get up close and wreck him in melee.

Team 1. pretty handily.

Gambit throws a half deck in Freezes face and blows him to pieces. Taskmaster dodges the barrage of bullets from Jason Todd, counters a few moves them drops him in time for a powered up staff to smack him in the back of the head for the KO. The only way I would see Freeze and the Red Hood winning is if they got the jump on the marvel team( which I def dont see happening with Gambit and Taskmaster) Freeze could freeze them both then Jason could shatter their bodies with a rain of .45 bullets. But I give the majority to Gambit and Taskmaster.

Opposite pairing gives this to team DC. Jason is out of his depth against Gambit, but he is skilled enough to play keep away while Freeze ends Taskmaster with lethal Area of Effect ice damage. The two vs one is enough for DC to eke a slim and solid majority 5.5-6/10.

PS. Freeze is a heavy defense fighter, his suit is designed to take explosions from thugs and hoods and Gotham supervillains. Remy needs heavier stuff than cards , and the ice will drain him sooner than later. The arena will be -150 C inside of two minutes.

@senglord: Is Mr. Freezes armor acid proof? Electric disrupting proof? Because Tasky could fairly easy keep his distance with nigh flawless accuracy and a bunch of trick arrows, let alone normal arrows capable of going through steel.

Taskmaster and Gambit win, but there's a good argument to an in character Jason beating Taskmaster.

The argument is as follows, Jason constantly taunts Taskmaster who gets obviously quite cocky and beats Jason pretty badly as he's a far better martial artist. Jason takes him by throwing an ineffectual punch.... with an invisible indestructible all-blade in his hand heavily injuring/killing the cockily dodging-by-a-hair Taskmaster.

@boringperson: Taskmaster isn't cocky with people he has never fought/seen before. It's not in his character to take lightly new contenders. As for your strategy, there's only 1 small flaw all around... Jason would be KO'd, how is he magically getting up after Tasky hypothetically deals with him? For 1, the only thing that actually stops Taskmaster from killing are contracts, besides that he has no quarrels into delivering death.

Taskmaster easily solos.

@ghostravage: You harshly underestimate how aggravating Jason Todd can be. Jason Todd is undoubtedly top 3 DC characters in terms of level of annoyance he can induce in his opponents!
