SWAT VS Hogwarts

• No morals at all. SWAT thinks they are disciples of the Omen.
• 7 VS 7.
• Hogwarts team only have their normal wands.
• Harry has the invisibility cloak but he is the only person who can use it.
• Fight in an abandoned mansion. Begin on opposite ends of the mansion.
• Win by all means.

Bullets are much faster than spells.

Hmmm, I guess I overestimated the wizards. They have no chance whatsoever? Book and movie feats btw.

All of the wizards get shot to death while they are calling out the name of their spells.

Well bullet speed does not matter if Swat does not have a clear shot, so all the Hogwarts wizards have to do is cast shield spells and then pwn from there.

Exactly.Hermione can do the exact thing they did in the Deathly Hallows,wich muffles,shield them and makes them invinsible,just wait them to appear and then accio their guns to the ceiling.From this point on they can: burn them,kill them with Avada kedavra,order them to kill theirselves with Imperius,etc... There is no chance for swat team to win.Even if the heat vision googles see them,they can just burn them with damned fire as soon as the battle starts.Wizards stomp.

SWAT wins easily without the Cloak, with it it can go either way.

@alphaq: Hah, the swat has no chance what so ever. They wouldn't be even able to find Hogwarts if we go by the actual lore... But that's not the issue here since that's not where the fight is.

Any competent wizard will just conjure fire from behind corner and fry the SWAT or summon something like fog to obscure the area and then own the SWAT with some "AOE nasty" like laughing curse or good luck on hitting that wand end poking from behind corner before you're fried by lightning, boys.

SWAT wins, bullets & night vision googles. Also the tear gas will mess with the wizards trying to call out spells.

I don't think any fog or AOE spells have been shown by any of the wizards here and in terms of coordination, experience, teamwork, weaponry (an assault rifle > a wand as per JK Rowling), tactics and even AOE powers (a flashbang is much more practical than area spells) go firmly to the SWAT. Knowing how to clear a room is an enormous advantage. Only a Invisibility Cloak gives the wizards a chance.

@sinikettu I have, several times and read the the books three time, although I may have forgot something.

@leo-343 I have heard multiple people claim she said something along the line of the average wizard losing to the average farmer with a shotgun. Of the top of my head I can't remember any official confirmations but it should be pretty easy to confirm or debunk considering all the websites devoted to documenting her every word.

Average wizard loses. These aren't your average wizards plus, they all know what a gun can do while the SWAT doesn't know a thing about their spells. It depends who does what first, but the SWAT is pretty lethal. No morals = wizards aren't waiting.

A lot of them CAN cast spells without saying a word and they can cast shields pretty fast. They have been shown to reflect spells that fly really fast towards them they can do a similar thing with bullets. They know about guns and they are talented smart wizards. I'll say one of them dies for the sake of it.

SWAT shoots most of them before they finish a spell. Especially if what J.K Rowling said about the Wizard vs Gun thing is true. And even with the invisibility cloak, I mentioned this yesterday, but IIRC it just makes him invisible, not intangible? I mean a lucky shot should be all it takes.. If the Wizards had prep I'm sure they'd have a better chance, hell might even stomp.

@leo-343: Yes. More or less this. Most of the time when using magicians/sorcerers (ex Zatanna), their stats get them stomped in a random encounter, but with a prep the tables turn..
