Serena only made two attacks against Fairy Tail. The first was a flame attack that was eaten by Natsu and the next hurt a Base Natsu that was busy eating said flames, and it also caused other members of Fairy Tail to be alarmed. That's hardly what I would consider overpowering like what Suzaku did to Natsu and Erza.
