Who wins and why???

Team one stomps, Gladiator doesnt belong here.

Either Clark or Orion could solo.

Any reason why team 1 wins? on some occasions I find that gladiator is equal to superman and even one says he is slightly more powerful than superman. I thought thor and orion are pretty even and pretty much a tossup battle, what do you guys think?

@cognitive: well, let's say we only allow high end feats for gladiator and we disregard most of his low end feats. And kallark is at full confidence as stated in the OP

Superman should still beat Thor with high difficulty while Orion beats Kallark (much closer under the new rule, but the Astro Force is gonna make Orion extra dangerous when facing other high tiers given how he can amp himself, and besides, Orion's durability is arguably the highest here)

@cognitive: I'm sorry I didn't really catch up with Orion's continuity in post crisis but what feats did he have to top even Post Crisis Superman or Gladiator? Can he tank a supernova or similar solar system busting attack?

@imperialbuttlicker: Ripped DS's heart out, unphased by a sun-dipped Superman's punch, generally portrayed at least as Supes' equal, took a beam (which sent Supes flying) unharmed, and IIRC Batman once mentioned that if he did not stopped blasting some alien warship on the moon, the Earth was gonna be torn apart. If you think this isn't enough, well, there are TONS OF respect thread for him, and I'm only listed the ones I remember.

The most popular feat being brought up however, belongs to his new 52 incarnation, whom tanked a blast that destroyed a solar system.

Gladiator isn’t even close to Superman level. Either of team 1 solos.

That said, i see this rather as an epic battle and either one in each team can't solo

I think people are underrating Thor here. From what I've read, Orion isn't stomping Thor anytime soon and a case can be made for the latter. Superman beats Thor but he isn't stomping either.

Gladiator isn't on anyone's level here but he can serve as a distraction. To that end, I don't see anyone soloing.

@imperialbuttlicker: Odin didn't lose the fight - he had her in a chokehold before Frigga's health distracted him and made him leave the fight.

Gladiator feat's are comparable to post crises Superman. In some cases better. I've never seen post crises Superman planet bust before.
