So many times tagged by fighters who aren't FTL, being outsped by bullets, Lobo, The General, Alien Insects, Mongul, Dr. Light, Jailor, Proteus, sound-based attacks, giant robots, etc... all times when Superman got straight up destroyed or even blitzed by fighters who have never been FTL. Even Green Lantern isn't FTL and he straight up blitzed Superman.

So why ignore these?

3,267 posts later I would say both Thor and Supes are very equal in terms of fighting and power. And they really are. It hardly never is as black and white in the comics that CV forums tend to tell it is. They both are hardcore, they both have hardcore feats that will outshine a lot of other characters in any day of the week. And I'm very sure neither of them would not like to face each other in the battlefield, if they could choose.

I wonder when the last good debating on this thread was

@tonymartial: No difficulty is a bit strong when talking about Thor. He may be much slower, but he has other ways to fight.

This is basically Superman vs Orion (replace the astro harness with Mjolnir). Just the same as that fight, Superman is faster, but Thor can still get his licks in and those licks are much stronger than Superman's and can possibly one-shot.

Orion would beat Thor. Superman beats him more easily due to the speed advantage.

Orion can beat Thor so can Thor beat Orion . And as for this fight I my opinion remains the same 50/50

@xlr87t3: Thor one shotting Superman is pretty unlikely and would argue Superman hits just as hard as Thor does as well. Orion and Thor seems like an odd comparison though.

@clownprinceofcrime1995: Thor is faster than light when he needs to be. He outmaneuvered Silver Surfer a couple different times, fought evenly with Sentry, and his fight with Gorr used entire light years as a battle field. That and he can summon and steer his ship moving billions of light years in a few seconds. He’s not a slow guy, it is just that his super speed is different than Superman’s.

@chad_duby: I mean, not all writers share the same opinion though. Also, feats and showings are also a pretty defining factor in who wins.

I agree wholeheartedly. I've always said it, guys like Wolverine, Ian Zola and Mongoose are faster than light considering they blitzed Thor!

@ghostravage: I wouldn't say that. Thor actually has feats of moving the length of entire galaxies under his own power and has shown no problem perceiving things moving around him as he travels.

I know, Thor is very underrated! He's just as fast as guys like Wolverine who is faster than light! Beat it noobs!
