Superman vs Spawn (total twist)

Superman as in Pre Crisis

Spawn as in King of Hell

Now the Twist. Since Spawn can stop time It wouldnt be fair. Since Superman can move near Speed of Light isnt fair either.

Rules

So Spawn can only Slow Time (Lightspeed Supes to Hypersonic Supes) in his City wide bubble. Also Supes has 2 Holy Super Brass Knuckles!

With the field even a bit who wins?

UGH. So tired of Superman/DC speed arguments..these characters hardly ever utilize that speed in battle. If they did they would be even more boring and overpowered.

Spawn smokes his Alien butt. Holy knuckles wouldn't help Clark unless he believes anyway. DC fans should stick to DCnU Superman as all the previous (red underwear) versions are gone for good and will never be seen at DC again.

@Floopay: Hypersonic is usaully Mach 5+ So Mach 5 should be fine. I know Spawn reaches thos speed.

Fact is Hell King wins by stopping Time. Supes wins against First Age Spawn by Speed Blitzing argument.

So with that taken out as both are Capable (Spawn) or forced (Superman) at Hypersonic should give more depth.

I would say Superman below Mach 10 gets ripped apart like no other. The fact is Spawn has reacted to Mach 3-5 speeds back in his First Age era as little more than an automatic reflex.

However, at Mach 10 this would be interesting, that's a huge jump from Mach 5, as it's twice as fast. I think at these speeds Superman stands a chance, but lacks the versatility Spawn has. I personally always side with versatility in a close match.

true. Beyonder and Molocule Man used their powers more often than Superman etc. actually speedblitz in the comics. Speedblitz is just a way to disregard most battle opponents here on the vine.

Superman's speed can is a multiversal threat. Even the spectre itself fears the consequences.

MY Point is:

I know spawn wins but you don't have to underestimate superman
