Superman wins because he can survive anything that sentry throws at him, while sentry was shown that with enough strength against him (that battle with the Hulk) can be overcome.

Sentry, yeah I mean a little kid could kick Supes ass, all he needs is Green-K. Don't get me wrong I think Big S would get som good hits in but in the end Sentry would win.

The Sentry can manipulate light energy. He could deny Superman his power source. Then its like killing a human. How would Superman cope with a 1000 exploding suns in his face? Could he absorb ALL of that energy or would he explode?

Sentry's never displayed this supposed ( power of a million exploding suns) before. And how would he know Superman's powers come from the Sun? Its not like he starts off knowing what he's up against.
