Are there scans showing how powerful Superman is after 1 hour sundip? Also, what does it mean to be more "powerful"? More strength, more durability, more speed?
@WillPayton: i remember someone bringing u p a scan against me w hile ago, i think it was something like 6 times as powerful after half an hour, but I'm not 100% sure. Ad that was for basically all of his powers, and all of his abilities and attributes. If you look at Superman Prime One Million, he gains a vast variety of powers from sundipping such as reality warping and creation abilities. But that was for 15,000 years, so im not sure about what an hour would do for that.

All of the above, an enhancement on everything a Kryptonian has over a normal man. There's no reason a sundip would be selective on what it enhances seeing as it's simply a boost of his existing powers.

Some things like intelligence might not be boosted at all, or some things might be boosted at different rates. For example, his strength might be doubled, but his speed might only slightly increase, or his reaction time might stay the same. It's just speculation without scans or something to show what would actually happen.
Superman has rarely sundipped in continuity. He sundipped for an undisclosed amount of time in Our Worlds at War, it seemed to be somewhere around half an hour, and he was able to move Warworld by himself. This was far beyond his earlier powers, and I've heard 3x as powerful thrown around. I've never seen anything on-panel to indicate any precise measurement, though. He sundipped another time, (I'm having trouble remembering the arc), and he was able to take it to Darkseid without much trouble. In DC 1,000,000 he sundipped for something like 15 centuries and came out essentially omnipotent. As far as I know, these are the only canon times he's sundipped.
@Esquire: he didn't actually sun-dipped when he fough darkseid in Superman/Batman:Supergirl, he just flew at FTL speeds to the Sun and then to the Source Wall
@Esquire: Lol thanks, i new that both of those happened, i just don't know to what extent his powers increased. You've heard 3, ive heard 6. Im not sure, but i think there is a scan that specifies that.

In this case I would say it's safe to say that he would gain a proportional increase in all his Krpytonian powers as if he had gained them naturally, a writer is not going to overcomplicate the issue by dishing out different percentages to speed and strength. Not entirely sure but I don't believe his intelligence has been tied to his powers since the Silver Age, he may be able to think faster which always helps.

People make the argument that a sundipped Superman beats everyone including God just like they say Batman can beat anyone with prep-time because he's just so much smarter than everyone. Its all a bunch a bologna!
Superman is not stronger than Hercules. Thor and Hulk are on par with Hercules and have done feats equal or greater than Superman. A sundipped Superman won't make a bit of difference against the power of Asgard(Thor) and a limitless force of nature(Hulk). You want Superman at his best? How about Superman versus Hulk OR Thor at their best? Not Both. Just one or the other because both would be overkill. Superman is a dead man against only the two of the avengers, going one at time in one on one match-ups, and even moreso against the entire Avengers team.
Superman moves so fast, the Avengers are just statues (if a person has lightspeed perception, a second becomes a lifetime), he then proceeds to perform tracheotomies with his fists in each one of their necks.
This thread should be altered to the most exciting ways Superman can kill the entire Avengers team.

a blue sun aka dwarf star doubles the affect of a yellow sun and half n hour of dipping in yellow triples superman power I beleive so a blue sun would increase his power 12 times. Putting supermans strength at 200 quintillion tons, tying his previous record. All other powers have increases effect to.
