I think he forgot that billions of humans giving their ki to the spirit bomb made the bomb way bigger . The same humans super buu effortlessly one shotted . The fact that Goku , even with SSJ3 and SSJ2 Vegeta , was scared to fight Super Buu proved that Buu was way above Kid buu.

Lol what. Read the manga, a completely healthy and freshly revived Ultimate Gohan gives all his energy for the spirit bomb and Goku blatantly states it won't be enough to beat Kid Buu.

Kid Buu is objectively superior to Ultimate Gohan.

Hell, Goku at the end even blatantly states that had he lost to Kid Buu everyone was finished, which includes Ultimate Gohan and Gotenks. This same Goku was laughing and scoffing saying Gohan can one shot you now after Buutenks reverted back to Buu Piccolo.

As for the whole "but he was afraid to fight Super Buu", it's an inconsistency that's continually contradicted later by feats and statements if you go with that interpretation, but even then, Toriyama himself already explained it to Goku wanting to fight Kid Buu fair so even then not really.

It was specifically due to the fact Buu wasn't merged anymore and the fact that Goku's nature is to have a fair fight.

This would just mean genki is exponentially stronger than it's source which is a demonstrated fact, like how the genki from a few lifeforms on Namek could hurt a dwarf star level First Form Frieza, or even now how the genki from one planet can hurt Universe busters like SSB Goku and Vegeta unless you think Namek Final Form Frieza is planet level and God Goku and Vegeta are planet level.

Except Gohan was fully alive and healthy and onguard by this point. If he's so much stronger than Kid Buu he should easily be able to stop him just like Goku and Vegeta tried to when he blew up Earth earlier and got wrecked.

Nobody asked you to believe anything you're the one who tagged me first, but if you can't debunk the Spirit Bomb and are asking for more reasons then I'll accept that concession. I've already provided 2 instances in which Kid Buu is demonstrably stronger than Ultimate Gohan, along with posting Goku stating him to be getting stronger as he reverted back to Kid Buu, and this all manga only. If you want to use the anime there's several statements outright stating Kid Buu is the strongest Buu and stronger than Super Buu. Though the focus here is him being stronger than Super Buu specifically.

There's nothing that outright states Super Buu>Kid Buu in the first place either other than fan headcanon.

goku is shown to tank buu kamehameha. but destroys his body when he does his own.
