Superboy has this thing he does with robots where he TTKs them apart effortlessly. I don't know if that would work on Spartan since he's not just the simple mechanics of robots that seems to work on. I don't know where Superboy's strength has been since his return, but Spartan is close to Majestic and he's got skills (his own plus everything the Coda know) and experience. He's also shown to exploit strengths Sboy should have, like superhuman senses.
