Superboy prime is bloodlusted and sundipped for 1 year

Juggernaut is classic no momentum stealing

Arena indestructible planet

SBP starts at one end of the universe and flys full speed straight into juggernaut

Juggernaut starts on the planet runs full speed straight into prime

Who would knock the other one back

Bonus round both bloodlusted fight to death or ko

Juggernaut with ease.

Classic Juggernaut just takes his momentum then sends him back the other way.

Ah of course, the Prime fanboys are all over.

As @theking47 already said, Classsic Juggs can and has stolen the momentum of opponents, Prime has no answer for this but of course he somehow wins here.

maybe juggs will get ko'd. it's hard to tell if jugg's magic will protect him against prime.

Prime is immune to magic damage, but Juggernaut's powers affect physics, not necessarily Prime but the forces of the universe that Prime creates. So the immunity to magic thing doesn't really make sense if Juggernaut's powers aren't affecting Prime himself, but rather the physics around Prime.

Doesn't really work like that, that's like trying to say someone immune to magic will be affected by a fireball because it heats the air. Magic immunity means you aren't affected by what magic does, don't try to apply real world rules to magic, if we did that then no magical affect should ever really affect Superman anymore than it's non-magical counterpart.

@slimj87d:

That's a statement, nothing more.

By the same logic the Juggernaut is invulnerable, Thanos, Odin and multiple other characters omnipotent.

He's been resistant to magical attacks, this isn't a magical attack though, this is a power because of magic.

One more thing, do you think Prime could beat Sise-Neg?

Prime sundipped for a year? He turns juggernaut and the surrounding galaxy to paste.

Avatar image for thesuperhuman
#27 Posted by TheSuperHuman (1310 posts) - - Show Bio

Can a year's worth of sundip be quantified in a way that shows the exact magnitude of Prime's power? I can't really accept sundipping as a win. Juggernaut is impervious to nearly every type of harm, until his helmet comes off and is telepathically put down.

@dextersinister: I disagree.

You can disagree with how things work if you want.

If magic conjures up real flames, then your are susceptible to the damage of a real flame. If magic creates an illusionary flame that manipulates your cells into thinking its flames and for your body to react to it like it's flames, then you are susceptible to magic damage.

Prime has only been shown to be immune (or highly resistant) to magic damage. If Juggernaut's powers affect Juggernaut himself, then Prime's immunity to magic has nothing to stop Juggernaut's powers If Juggernaut absorbs external momentum, that has nothing to do with Prime's resistance to magic. Prime isn't a magic user, his powers are purely physical. He can't alter, change or manipulate Cytorrak's powers on Juggernaut.

So again, I disagree with your reasoning because there isn't any reasoning in it.

It doesn't matter anymore, OP already said Juggernaut can't use those powers.

Prime went from massively depowered to over powering the almost every superhero in DC win a ray of sun light hit his pinky finger while he was on earth. If he were to Sun dip for an entire year Jugg is done for as well as the unbreakerable planet this fight takes place on, given that Primes main ability was to do as he pleased.

This is a stomp.

He's shown immunity on a few occasions, your still trying to argue magic affecting someone with the sketchy logic I just said doesn't float.

Why is Prime immune to magic? an inverse to silver age's incredibly weakness or maybe it's because being from the Prime universe makes him more real than others, doesn't matter that's just how he was written.

Avatar image for slimj87d
#36 Posted by slimj87d (15680 posts) - - Show Bio

@dextersinister: I understand that he's resisted magic before, but what would that do for him in a case where someone else's magic powers amp themselves.

Lets just say there's a character that has the power to absorb all impact and becomes more durable and it's magic that grants him this power. So is Prime immune in a way where he gets to hit this guy, and his powers wont' allow him to absorb something as simple as an impact?

What if there's a magic portal or magic teleportation, well if Prime is resistant to magic, would he not be able to walk through it or would his body resist the teleportation since he is "immune" to magic.

I don't want to speculate here and say because he's shown resistance to magic attacks that he would get to turn Juggernaut's powers off. There's no logic or reasoning behind why Prime would get to disconnect Juggernaut from Cyttorak and not allow Juggernaut to absorb impact or momentum anymore because his showings only show him resisting magic attacks.

Thor and Doctor Strange have been able to manipulate the magic connection, becuase they were able to sense and and use magic to manipulate it directly. Prime doesn't have these kind of skills and abilities.

So for my last post on the matter, since OP has already discarded Juggernaut's power, I disagree with how you're trying to assume Superboy-Prime's abilitiy to resist magic attacks would allow him to shut or disconnect Juggernaut's power to Cyttorak.

@heatblaze123: lol no bias I gave sbp a massive amp cuz I wasn't sure if could force juggernaut back while he's in motion at his reg state

Keep in mind juggs main power is to literally be unstoppable once he's in motion and since he's never been pushed back while in motion I wanted to pick the strongest character I could think of to give it a shot
